Development Team Information
This question has been addressed many times via email and on our communities, but we want to reiterate it and go into some further detail. Due to the nature of the project, the Upfiring development team will remain publicly anonymous. This means that — as with many other P2P file-sharing applications — the team will not be posted on the homepage. If you have been been given some information regarding the team, we also ask that you that you do not post about it on our social media pages for the protection of those working to make this project a success. We have no problem with people discussing this topic privately (Discord, Telegram, Reddit PMs, etc).
We understand keeping the team private is not ideal, but it is a part of the project and we hope to gain the communities trust by excelling in other ways — such as providing some development code, application graphics, and being active on our social media platforms. If you do not feel comfortable holding UFR until the application is further along in development and more source code can be provided to the community for evaluation, it is understandable.
Thank you for sending this. And whereas I do share in the excitement of the project and it’s full potential... I do feel concerned that there is literally ZERO references to ANY part of the team. Not PR, no Marketing, no potential corporate affiliations.... i don’t think it’s FUD to ask logical questions which would not compromise their identities..
I speak as someone who has invested a significant portion of my portfolio into the company because I believe the concept... and i am not an affluent person, so it is a big risk. But I’d at least like some basic transparency about a single part of the professional team with whom we’ve invested. I do not believe it would compromise any identities if they had a a member of the team who HAD ANY credentials. Again we are supposed to trust on the idea alone? Yes i believe in the idea and I’ve invested, but in hind sight, I’d think the DEMS would hire someone reputable to be a public liaison to the faithful investors.... and the fact that there is only an anonymous reddit blog poster from the company responding doesn’t give me much confirmation that they are poised in a position to achieve the said goals. If they are... they should ha e someone... ANYONE REPUTABLE ON BOARD as a public liaison. HAVE THEM SIGB AN NDA so they can at least speak to investors and potential investor, so there is some or ANY credentials behind this project.
Basically, How do we know they have connections to achieve any said goals? Are there any other media platform afialiations, or seasoned executives to support the project... anything that can be communicated that would not ‘compromise their identities’. It would seem they could easily have a PR Dept or non developer / non executive partner who could be some reference.... this could easily handle such reasonable FUD. Like a reputable person involed to reinforce this is not simply a few people who have created a good video, website and who are on top of the blog / reddit sphere.
Simply put. Is there any partner, support, corporate affiliation or reputable person on board in ANY department who can be identified and who can quell such reasonable concerns ? Or shall we continue to trust with COMPLETE ambiguity?

Is everyone on reddit or what is happening on this forum that no one hardly asks anything, no new members are looking for info about this project and so on. Am I paranoid ?
And with a small market cap of only 22M. There are so many sh*t coins out there that have 100's of millions in market cap so we still have a lot of room to grow. This has been accomplished without serious marketing. Slow grassroots growth that is finally being recognized.
