We are at 217 right now so we are getting close!

It's already listed on the voting page as the 5th one.
ooo I see we can pay in DOGE.  1 vote is a little over 1k DOGE.  This is easy to get by collecting it from some DOGE faucets.

What's the DOGE address? I have a bunch that I'd be happy to send in for votes.

There is no single DOGE address from what I can see.  You need to go though the checkout process apparently.  https://www.coinpayments.net/vote
I've never used coinpayments before.

I've got mining power and I'd like to to support UNIT in the best way I can.  I have two options, but don't fully understand the pros and cons of each.

1) Mine BTC and buy UNIT.  The main pro I see is that I end up with more UNIT.

2) Mine UNIT directly.  Does this add health to the coin in some way that could be greater than the extra few UNITs?

I was browsing the blockchain and noticed an address with a negative balance.  Is that a bug in the blockchain explorer or something else?

So what was the issue?  The top transactions all look the same.

It was likely a bug in the block explorer.  It's impossible to have an actual negative value on the block chain.

Maybe that is why I cant sync my walklet?
 Huh

No, you probably need nodes, try this one:

Code:
addnode=universalcurrency.securepayment.cc

Looks like the reward is still 100 coins per block on suprnova
unit.suprnova.cc and the same for ispace.co.uk mining pool

The OP seems to be off by about 100 blocks

Code:
        else if(pindexBest->nHeight+1 >= 101  && pindexBest->nHeight+1 <= 210101)
    {
        nSubsidy = 100 * COIN;
    }
        else if(pindexBest->nHeight+1 >= 210102)
    {
        nSubsidy = 5 * COIN;
    }

Still however, PoW generated less than half the expected amount of coins.  So what we have here is a blockchain with less than half the money supply of Peercoin's with a little less inflation than Peercoin.

Wow, I should have bought more of this...

I guess it makes sense it was done this way since the first 100 blocks had 0 zero reward.

So how does that happen?

The other half of the blocks were solved with POS and those POS blocks had a smaller reward.
