> 90% of URO owned by only 100 people, at the top of the list someone sitting on 72,000+ (~22%). If I were him, I wouldn't be waiting long before I dumped all the markets simultaneously.

http://www.cryptocuttlefish.cc/uro_rich_list.php

72,397.100 is bittrexx
the next one
is mintpal
the next is
poloniex Cheesy hahaha
wtf are u thinking

I was think that:

1) Every coin in the wallet is mined (note all transactions are 12 URO, which is the block reward) http://uroexplorer.cryptocuttlefish.cc/address/UkSmT2yNWcsWYVk8Y4MusZWKpqSRZdVTpT
2) If you read previous posts, someone was mining URO early on with 1 GH/s of power https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=600639.200
3) If you can put 1 and 2 together, a single entity (not an exchange) owns 22% of all coins in circulation
4) If you apply this same logic to the other wallets with over 10,000 URO, they can all be traced to large amounts of transactions equal to the block reward or consistent with automatic payments from mining.

You can most certainly profit from downward price movements if you are the one causing them with false accusations and you know that the price will recover after it falls since the fall was based on your lies- it allows you (the inside, fraudulent trader) to sell before you spread the lies, and then buy back when it goes lower, and then sell again when it goes back up. This is absolutely illegal in non-crypto markets.

The sad part is too many newbies got shaken out.  Sad
That's just it. There is obviously fud rampant on these forums but most of us want a fair and honest trade environment and the scams that arise hurt that.

Grow up. I didn't write the article to 'push the price' down so I can buy 'cheap URO.'

Really what was childish about my comments?  I did not suggest anywhere that you made the article up, only that it could be made up, just as URO "could" be a scam which is surely what you are saying.

Quote
That makes no sense. Instead I would have bought the URO when it was cheap and the wrote the article in order to pump the price so I can dump.

It makes sense to me and frankly it's worrying that someone who purports to be the "Altcoin Herald" is so naive.  So you didn't buy early?  Hmm I wonder how you could get the price low enough to buy in now and make a quick profit?  Maybe publish a FUDding article.  Again not saying for sure just a lot of red flags here.

Quote
In case you aren't AWARE, you can't short an altcoin so there's no way to bank on downward price movement.

Really?  So you can't drive the price down with false allegations to buy in cheap, then wait for the price to rise when people point out the shortcomings inherent in them?  If you believe that you clearly know nothing about altcoins - it happens all the time.  How can we believe anything you say if you are that ignorant?

Quote
I wrote the article to point out RED FLAGS so that people can form their own judgments and become savvier about 'investing' in altcoins. I'm not sure if you're new or not, but ALMOST ALL altcoins turn out to be scams. They're create for pump and dumps only and those who buy at the highest prices LOSE their money.

I was merely pointing out the numerous "RED FLAGS" in your article such as grammatical mistakes and spelling errors.  Also the complete lack of any real references, sources or actual evidence to support your claims are somewhat troubling.  It is a complete "fluff" opinion piece which smacks of sour grapes.  There is no journalistic integrity here.

There have to be losers in order for people to win.

You have chosen to be a loser.  We are all aware that URO could be scam, and that all altcoins are a big gamble.  The thing is, if URO does turn out to be legit your credibility will be (pun intended) flushed down the toilet.

Perhaps you should grow up.

Yes, hold hold your bag of uro, hold it untill its 50k sat again and you have to sell at 10x loss.

already lost 35% of its value past hours, investors also see now this is just another scam, anyone defending uro
is because they didnt sell yet, but here yet again, dont burn your fingers on this one:

Have fun

Everyone: splinter elements of various coin communities are attacking us from all angles - please ignore them and DO NOT fight back. The Uro Foundation is has a legal team to handle any false accusations they may bring to the table.

False accusers: you are not just accusing a BTCTalk account called "true-asset". Because I have the luxury of having identified myself, you are defaming me, Bohan Huang as an individual. Be aware that defamation is a serious crime in most countries. I urge you to cease and desist before the appropriate legal action is taken against you. Should you be found guilty, there are severe civil and and criminal punishments that you my be subject to.

It should also be noted that nations like the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and many others now have active anti-cyberbullying legislation in place. This legislation can enforce online service providers to provide information that will identify and prosecute perpetrators.

Further, it should be also noted that network routing systems such as Tor, VPNs and proxy servers will not save you from ID discovery (refer to Silk Road as an example). As this is the third time I have made a post requesting you to stop, I have provided all the necessary notice required before engaging law enforcement agencies.

We have not attempted to bully you, and we ask you to meet the same standards.

May your peace and fortune in life be determined by your actions.

Wow, you actually managed to publish an arcticle with no new information in it or things which got already discussed in the thread or in the IRC.
Great "journalist" you are.

Really why not?  If you FUDsters are right and URO is all made up surely that article could be made up.  There are no verifiable facts or sources in it.  Right now there is a lot more to back URO than that article.  Then again logic, reason or rationality don't come into your attempts to push the price down.

Listen - who the fuck cares if you think its a scam or u think its legit.  IF YOU THINK ITS LEGIT THEN FUCKING BUY IT.  IF YOU THINK ITS A SCAM THEN SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GO BUY SOMETHING ELSE.

STOP TRYING TO FORCE YOUR BELIEFS ON OTHER PEOPLE.  YOUR ARE ACTING LIKE A BUNCH OF JEHOVAS WITNESS KNOCKING ON A ATHEIST DOOR.

THE ATHEIST DOESNT WANT TO HEAR IT - AND THE JEHOVAS WASTING HIS TIME.

YES IT MAY LOOK LIKE A SCAM - I AGREE - SOMETHINGS THAT ARE TO GOOD TO BE TRUE ARE VERY SCAMMISH LOOKING.  AND SO WE CAN ONLY MAKE THE FACTS STRAIGHT THAT EITHER IT IS TRUE GOOD TO BE TRUE, LIKE BITCOIN WAS IN 2009 - 2010  - OR THAT ITS  A COMPLEX SCAM.

EITHER WAY - SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY.

thank you for your time.

Autistic fudders only argument against uro is "it is too good to be true".

They attack it for the sake of attacking another altcoin.

You seriously don't understand the multinational backing of this coin? Did you guys research the 4 NIER companies and their income?

Not saying anything either way re URO, but the above article is pure speculation...

Yeah, it contains no actual information.   Not really helpful at all.

This needs real journalists looking into it.
