Why do the coin development stopped?

Easy they where cashing out  the btc from the ico   Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

What BTC?  Only Vericoin was used for the ICO...All the addresses are public and nothing has moved except some for the marketing, the remainder has being staking and gaining interest.

Nice try but sad attempt at FUD

It must be sad indeed when you realize you even suck at being a troll....

Trolling is definitely not my forte lol😋

I THINK MAD SHOULD JUMP FROM THE BRIDGE WITH ALBEN FOR ALL THE PROMISES..........    AND SHOW RESPECT TO THE GODS....

Ok weirdo, I'll get right on that

It hasn't, lots being worked on. Marketing meeting tomorrow, upcoming release of joint wallet with Vericoin and Verium including P2P Anonymous trading. Social media app being developed by third party developer on Android and iOS that uses Vericoin under the hood.

Lots of exciting stuff to come!

What is the social media app all about?

Third party developer is working on a mobile social media app using Vericoin under the hood(won't be like steam, something totally new). He will be developing it for iOS and Android. I've talked to the developer personally and he knows his stuff, over 20 years experience in developing large IT projects. Has worked for HP and Oracle. He won't saying other then that, same with the Vericoin team...their tight lipped. But if Doug is excited about the potential then that peaks my interest.

But all of this could be total BS, so I'm holding my breath.

I imported my private key as described here, but no coins in wallet... Blockchain synced (block 1610831). What I am doing wrong?

Try file menu rescan wallet
Thanks! That helped!)

Was really impressed with Kevin at Blue Lynx Marketing today in chat. He has some strong ideas on where to take Vericoin and Verium with the marketing campaign. Definitely excited for the future!😎

Also another question:  Vericoin is showing out of sync blocks in the explorer: i.e. block height is out of sync with block time in the Raw TX record.  Can anyone advise.  Here is an out of sync block example:  https://chainz.cryptoid.info/vrc/block.dws?1609671.htm

thanks.

If you're talking about how the reported block time is after than the time reported in the subsequent block, it's within the limits of the block allowance. The reported block time is allowed to be within a few minutes of the consensus time due to latency.

As you can see, the block time is reported as 16 seconds after the block time of the next accepted block. It's partially an artifact of shorter block times (1 min for VRC vs 10 min for BTC, for example). Since your PC clock could be off by a minute or two, as long as it's within the accepted window and properly meets the other criteria and is broadcast to a majority of nodes, it will be accepted.

Thanks for answering Pat, looking forward to the chat time tomorrow with Doug, yourself and Blue Lynx Marketing.

Is Vericoin a deterministic wallet: i.e. all keypairs derived from passphrase or is it a hierarchical deteministic wallet.

Looking for answer relative to this article.  http://bitzuma.com/posts/five-ways-to-lose-money-with-bitcoin-change-addresses/

thank you.  Please PM answer

The Android wallet which is not officially supported uses HD as the address mechanism. Our official wallets do not and are of the same type as Bitcoin core.
