i'm buying more vrc today

im buying more vrc every day using 25% of my profits from trading other markets. ive been on holiday from trading and mining both for about 1-2 months so i had to use from my btc savings for the past couple days, but now ive designated an investment strategy for vrc. it's a very simple strategy.. buy some vericoin every day lol. only coin atm thats worth serious investors and has a solid foundation for a bright future.

Me too =)

Who's taking bets for when VRC will start to rise again?

My bet is roughly 3-4 days from now.

Cloak pump is pretty much finished. Final stage of Redd pump will occur over the next 3 days. Then, big dumps on both and money moving back to other alts.

Where better than to Vericoin!?

Is anybody getting payouts from mining veripool ? I havent recieved anything since 7/21....

Hi Dave,
I have got no payouts yesterday, but last night a few came in. But if there are no payouts for 10 days something must be wrong.
First Thing I would do is copy the Transaction adress, go to the pool and search for the adress in the worker tab with ctrl-f.
If you find the adress working you should go to the irc channel. They help you very fast.

Thanks for answering.
I turned my miner elsewhere 3 days ago. Someone on the forum here posted , maybe 5 days ago , that transactions were not happening because the price of vrc was low.
If you have been receiving transactions, there must be something going on. I was mining at least 4 days after my last payout.
Have you been mining constantly, or just now and then?

check your address cause I have been getting HUGE payouts the past few days consistently

EDIT literally a few mins after posting this I just got a MASSIVE (relative to my hashrate) payout from the multipool

On another note, how about some nice pics of VeriBit being used to withdraw GBP from a Bitcoin ATM in London?

Flight Tickets purchased via Cheapair with Bitcoin
Hotel room booked and paid via Expedia with Bitcoin

GBP to cover trip expenses, withdrawn via Android Vericoin wallet, through VeriBit.

KaCHing!!!

Thanks Vericoin, you saved someone's bacon when they were left high and dry by a late paying client.

I just wanted to bump this and reiterate that it is by far the best example of the use of Veribit, or possibly even crypto in general, in a real life situation =)

Great stuff.

and why are we worried about a couple dumps again? so some people want to give away their vericoin for next to nothing. just thank them for the exceptional discount. got more vericoin than i wouldve bought at 30k now and ill keep buying more on the way up. it's like bitcoin, but with stake interest. a no brainer imo!

I'm not in VRC, but did see this cool image on twitter today.

now this is so close to the truth for some people, they give up right before hitting the jackpot while other just keep the faith and keep going, but most important never invest more than you can afford to loose

It looks like Bitrex is driving the sell off again.  I don't understand.  VRC seems healthy and active. Who is selling and why?  I'm trying to hold the line at 15k if anyone has any bullets left.
i dont know someone might be needing to pay rent on the penthouse the way they are selling lol

Hello
these prices of vericoin seems like a good change to buy in but I have some (noob)questions. If someone could help me with these  Smiley

Are the devs of vericoin still active ? What are they working on at the moment? What is the long term goal/ vision

Reddit seems to be where the most action is for vericoin? This tread dont seem that active at the moment. I actually mostly read btctalk only, so much to read to little time... are there things that are a 'must read' for vericoin?

Are there some projects that are done by the community?

Where do the devs update ? Here ?

Is there a reason for the down trend except the 'normal' down trend a lot of alts are experiencing at the moment especially those who a a beg rise some weeks/moths ago like drk, also volume seems low in the hole altcoin market, whales are on vacation ? Roll Eyes

1. Yeah the devs are still active - I've reached out to them a few times and have often gotten a reply within hours. If you want to talk to them directly you can usually find them on the IRC channel.

2. A good 'must read' for vericoin just recently came out at the Vericoin party that was held a few days ago...  http://www.vericoin.info/downloads/talk.pdf

3. Someone can probably answer that better than I. Veribit... Veritalk radio... Andriod app to name a few

4. Devs update in IRC mostly, then people spread the word through other channels. I personally use bitcointalk.org myself so I complain frequently there isn't enough info here. But socal and a few others do a pretty good job trying to keep this forum updated.

4. Downtrend is happening because it went up 200% over a couple days (like most coins) and then is just coming back down to the norm. I couldn't even tell you what the 50/200 MA would be from a technical standpoint but we're probably coming back down to the norm. The mintpal hack/hardfork sure didn't help things either. Not sure if it will ever recover from that.

Outside of those last points I think VRC is still a great coin to invest in - I picked up another BTC or so worth a few days ago back around the 15k-16k area. Given the technicals I have a feeling you can probably wait a little longer and still pick up some more at a lower price but knowing alt coins and the way they move, at any moment it could jump back to 30k+

Yer mintpal seemed abit odd and quiet for a few days after the hack but vols def picking up again n things getting back on track.
I aint got no issues with mintpal mainly cuz i am a hacker and i fully understand that "every" website is vulnerable you just got to find the vulnerability. Bittrex is a bad apple for all serious crypto!

On another unrelated matter that boggles me is all this dribble i keep hearing about just stake your coins just stake your coins... No dont just stake your coins soding trade!!

If everybody's just staking and holding on to their VRC like that little fucked up dude out of lord of the rings then whats gonna cause the upwards price drive?.. the price is set by market activity, no activity no price!
On top of what seems to be a wrong way of thinking were getting swamped out by a endless string of scam coins on bittrex!!

That's a good point about trading. I think some volume could do the price of VRC a world of good!

I still boycott Mintpal though. As much as you can say that there is a vulnerability in every website etc. The fact is that they left their VRC in the hot wallet when they should have had it in cold storage. They have admitted to this 'oversight' on their part. If they had done what they should have and stored the majority of the coins in cold storage, then no amount of hacking would have been able to steal all the VRC..
