time for vericoin to implement decentralized in-wallet exchange. i may be willing to help with the design.
I agree decentraliced exchanges are needed more then ever especially for pos coins like vericoin.

We are working with a group to get a decentralized exchange, we will look into the possibility of it being in the wallet, that's a nice idea. Though it may be technically difficult, let's see.

Coinler, why don't you buy as much VRC as you can handle right now while its cheap. Then once you get stuffed with VRC, begin working with the VRC devs to help design and implement a Vericoin debitcard type setup where the merchant POS system reads the magnetic strip and reads the required PIN code, then realtime queries the linked Vericoin wallet and approves funds, then credits the Merchant's Vericoin account with USD.
Then the online VRC wallet that is linked to the debit card would be debited in VRC. This would require a company type setup because the merchant would need to trust Vericoin enough to have an account that would always be credited with USD at the time of each sale.
One by one you would signup major merchants like BestBuy, Lowes, Walmart, Ikea, Grocery Store chains, gas stations, etc....
Lastly, once we have a solid Vericoin debitcard working with some major merchants we together as a community do a crowdsourcing campaign Dogecoin style and collect marketing funds that will be used solely to purchase google adwords for select searches and buy online ads in choice markets to drive brand new user interest into Vericoin where we point them to where a "new to crypto" user can quickly load their wallet with Vericoins, order their debitcard, and begin using it to make local purchases!
