For those that like to argue and bicker,
LoL no kidding!

I am completely new in the crypto world, but after a quick look around the only two "interesting" labels that popped out at me were VeriCoin and Hive. It looks to me like you are putting together some great utility.

Hi there,

We have already successfully added Litecoin and we are now interested in adding VeriCoin support to Hive. If you guys as a community are interested, can you direct us to some stable service which features a Blockchain.info-style API that we can build the integration around?

Our newest version is targeted at mobile, and an iOS version is under development.

For those that like to argue and bicker, there is an ongoing discussion about which tokens we should be prioritizing and adding here:

Thanks!

This is all just silly and pointless speculation. You guys are reading way too much into this.

From the limited information in the block chain, there is no way of knowing whether that address is an exchange or not. Not every address belonging to an exchange fits the pattern of the one posted earlier. This is very definitely a MintPal address:

  http://chainz.cryptoid.info/vrc/address.dws?VZnJ8HXJnZhhWbfadpMtyq8YFXEmkMZb2E.htm

...and it doesn't fit the pattern of the address posted above. How do I know it's a MintPal address? Because the first two transactions to that address are my own.

You guys would probably have a Conspiracy Theorist's Field Day if you looked at the addresses where I currently have my coins.

Whatever you're smoking, please pass it around. Cheesy

Can someone explain this:

http://blocks.vericoin.info/address/VQNu8EDUoXWK8T5LnDQw3cym8bhfJhh8iN
This guy has 4,5 MIL only in this adress... Also he receives a LOT of coins in one transactio (1,5 MIL in one transaction).

Also he kind of tries to hide it...
you can check it because he sends big amounts out and after that he keeps sending over and over to other adresses.

here:

http://blocks.vericoin.info/address/VPM5S9PmhHB8KgxvSnJhbfLz4Bk67CN2MV

If you keep following the outputs and the transaction ID's you will found out that this came from the 1,5 MIL output from the first link.
PS.: He sends it over around 25-30 adressess so you will need to spend 2-3 minutes following it...

Anyone else finds it weird?
I find pretty weird he trying to hide it...

The supply is 26-27 MIL... 4,5 MIL with only one guy would be around 15-20% of the supply...

Also it is not an exchange as exchange addresses usually looks like this:
http://blocks.vericoin.info/address/VTTxii8C7ux1wZtaSZwhzAwvdb9YdCuwzs

Anyone can explain?

This is a serious red flag...

#scam-alert

Ok...hang on here how the hell do you to jump to a conclusion like! Automatically it's a scam? Seriously?

How do you know this isn't on and exchange or cold storage account for an exchange?

All I know is all the devs together have much less than 1 million coins, so it is not us.  Our names are out there and they wouldn't be if we were going to scam anyone.  I would suspect this is an exchange.  We however don't know.

1) well, someone / group clearly has 4.5 MIL (it's clearly not an exchange, as Celani10 already noted)
2) not that i immediately distrust you, but your word (or anyones) means very little on the internet
2) it's probably wizrig (joel) who owns 4.5M.  that would explain a lot... lmao

Those whose identities are revealed, their words mean more than those who aren't.

Right.  And a nickel is worth more than a penny, but you still can't buy shit with it.

I'm not sure but if that is the VeriFund or multipool I'm gonna laugh at the twitchyness of some folks, but on the other hand if it's a private holder then I would say MUCH more investigation is called for

it's not miltipool or verifund because the 4,5 MIL is from 5th of June, they were not released yet If I recall right

Please all you dumbass weak hands dump so I can take your fortune in VRC for peanuts oh haha I CAN NOT wait for the NA BTC Conference when the price skyrockets and you kids come back crying anyone who listens to IE is a fucking moron that deserves to lose everything.

In response to the staking question the conflicted status means someone else got the payment same time you did so it will not ever resolve but your next interest payment will be double

Hey, I'm not trying to spread FUD cause I'm holding a lot of coins but I wanted to ask if you have any insight on what the NA BTC Conference game plan is? I understand people from VRC are going but is there any involvement in the event?

No problem just tired of this thread being filled with doomsayers because VRC hasn't maintained an unrealistic growth pattern, 10k-20k increases every day is not realistic or sustainable as for the NABTC, I am not a Dev so I cannot speak for them but I do know that they have SOMETHING up their sleeves for the confrence we will all just have to wait and see.

Also everyone crying about no news there will be a Google Hangout with the Devs TOMORROW so you can ask them anything you want
