Why the VRC price is falling?
So, if in the first phase VRM went for 6 VRC each and now it's 10... and the VRC price was roughly 15k-18k sats (anybody know the exact range during phase 1 of sale?), then: 15*(6/10)=9k sats and 18*(6/10)=10.8k sats.
So roughly in the 9,000-11,000 satoshi range would mean the price in this phase is equivalent to the price during phase one sale. Anything above and VRM is now worth more.
EDIT: ohh this phase is proportional with 10 VRC minimum. I thought it was 10 VRC maximum. That's a big difference since it removes much (all?) of the incentive to buy in early.

Being in VRC for 6 months now, all I can say is that VRCs market is one of the most rigged in the game. And this isn't something aimed at the devs - I am more than excited by the new tech - but is just a matter of fact that I've picked up while trading. Price suppression, whale manipulation, there's everything except normal market reaction to innovation.

I don't know about long term future, but it's been a great great coin to trade regular price movements and reasonable volume

Vericoin has never had any funding and has developed quite a bit without it. With actual funding for marketing, development and permanent staking fund which will provide indefinite funding I see Vericoin and Verium moving into the spot light.

Being in VRC for 6 months now, all I can say is that VRCs market is one of the most rigged in the game. And this isn't something aimed at the devs - I am more than excited by the new tech - but is just a matter of fact that I've picked up while trading. Price suppression, whale manipulation, there's everything except normal market reaction to innovation.

Here's a link. You'll send VRC to the ICO, and in return you'll get Verium. http://www.vericoin.info/ico.html
When the countdown ends, this page will change to the sending interface. You enter an address (under your control ie where you know the private key). Will be in VRC format, but can be empty, newly generated or even hold some VRC already. Then the page will display another address, to which you send the VRC you want to pay to the ICO.
When the ICO period ends, VRM will be sent to your first nominated address, in accordance with the terms and proportions.
