HA! 62Bitcoin sale soon as XMR hit mintpal of XMR on poloniex. and a 65 bitcoin sale of vrz on mintpal. I wonder if that is same person, btc amounts where very similar. Maybe, weird.
Sure enough there is about 60 bitcoin in 2 orders at about 50% drop on XMR prices, so, if he gets shut out of XMR I wonder where that money goes to, perhaps right back to VRC once the "trade" is over for him or her.

This coin is showing amazing resilience today.
Yeah, almost 500k coins dumped and we're still fighting our way up.
Im guessing that dump had to do with a big fish wanting to play the addition of XMR to mintpal, once that jolt is absorbed we'll continue higher IMHO.
We tested support on the 1hr charts and held higher with a nice bounce, if we continue to build bids and move higher from here everything is fine and that was just an impatient person wanting to make a trade.
Hopefully it was the guy that just paid 1 BTC for 14 XMR

A coin usually gets dumped and the price takes a long time or never returns back, this is now dumped for the 4th time in the 17k-16k and still going back! This is definitely a gem among the stones...
All that sell pressure just got brought forward and gobbled up from many eager community members, so we lost 1 big whale (for now) and we gained many more members. I love it.
Now the march to new highs just got 60 bitcoin thinner.
On we go to new high!
It wouldn't suprise me to see those rebid later in the day once XMR settles.

We don't need miners, we need to be irresistable to those people who HATE mining, like me.
This gives you the advantage of bitcoins now without the mined inflation. If a coin has a use, it has a value, most coins have no use.
Vericoin has just about every use a crypto can have with an excellent team and low inflation model to boot, this is exactly the type of investment I want. You know for a fact how many coins are produced / year for each and the distribution of vericoin is very similar to real fiat cash. As long as the team continues to create and innovate im on board.
Remember that the devs have several patents. This shows the kind of mind we have at work, they can create solutions to problems where nobody else in the ENTIRE WORLD, has. This is the team I want leading my money as we develop this amazing technology.

this coin is PoS not PoW, so i think alot is done by just a good distribution of the coin.
as long as nobody stakes with 50% of all coins we are save

understood you wrong, there is the veripool, everyone can direct their miners there.
veripool will mine the most profitable coin, sell it for btc and then buys vrc for the best price to issue it to the miners.

You can use vericoin for anything you can use bitcoin.
I don't see why this service couldn't be expanded as need be. This solves a huge problem that no crypto has done yet. You take away all the extensive POW of btc and in VRC you can gain coins by keeping your wallet open, rather than extensive power usage through POW.
Its incredible to think about what the end game is here and how much superior this could be. I mean the whole point of crypto is to be open source, if VRC opens the gates for trully great mixing services than we might open up the floodgates to more adoption.
Having a FIAT portal now doesn't hurt either!

Also think about the ramifications for bitcoin. Now you can have an interest barring bitcoin that has less inflation.
Wait until big money realizes this and it hits media. Could be a big thing nobody talking about yet. The developers are smart enoguh to see that I believe.
2% interest is enough to create demand but not enough to create dilution. 2% is better than nothing, and if your telling me I can use vericoin for anything I can use bitcoins and even the things you can't? I'm in!

I was also weird.. when I first got the message that is why I posted here.. to see if anyone else got it also...
New wallet on link at first page prevents this from happening again.
Thanks, I already had 1.2.4.0. I just happened to walk up to my computer as the message was going away. Didn't see which app it was from and assumed the worse.
