A sudden flood of negative posts.

I'm sure it's totally natural and not a FUD wave at all.

My comments are in regards to the huge EGO the dev has, which came about naturally as I used to love this coin.

Sure.  Of course.  Naturally.

bit-coin.pt - A divulgar a Bitcoin em Portugal
I used to really like VeriCoin but that egotistical Patrick Nosker is just killing this coin on twitter. Acts like they're better than anyone else. "Pretty much" guaranteeing they have the best code when they have no idea what other developers are working on. I dumped almost all mine because he clearly just hypes things... doesn't feel professional.

Agreed, when I was watching the coin die (it's now sub 200 btc volume per day versus the 5000btc volume per day when it was under the control of professional pump and dump groups) Nosker was tweeting way too much when he should have been working on the code. Just smacks of desperation after the big dump of the artificially inflated bubble.

damn if you do and damn if you don't...

People whine if there is no updates and now whining with too many updates.  I guess you can't satisfy everyone.

Keep on keeping on and ignore the few...

It's not about people wanting or not wanting updates. Updates are great unless they are pointless. Make an update when something has been updated.  The problem is that the guy just keeps tweeting about how amazing they are. He has an ego problem.. lame.

I don't agree 1% with this... on the contrary! I like the dev uses twitter to keep in touch with the community and to share whats in the near future for VeriCoin. I don't see any EGOshit (pardon me), just a Dev that's has a vision and a route and it's sharing that with all of us. I'm my projects I also like to share, tweet and inform what's in the bag. So stop with the nonsense EGOshit comments. This are my 2 Satoshis regarding to this.

He even urged yesterday on twitter CLOAK people to abandon their coin and invest in VRC. Such a shameful act..

I'm not making a stance if this coin is going up or down. I just don't like the huge head the dev has on himself so I don't support it. I am not here to get rich, I have enough and support advances to cryptotechnology. Hence why I used to really like this coin.

Anyone else notice the announcements about futures developments constantly? How about just wait a few days and announce it when it's done rather than hyping it up? Too much hype means price inflation. Let the code speak for itself. These guys think they are the smartest people in the world, I have yet to see anything to back that up.

the whole mintpal volume is 2300 btc, what do u expect, only vericoin to have 2000 volume? btc is crashing in case u didnt notice, people selling alts to sell btc after  and buy it back cheaper. all alts have low volume. open your eyes

VeriCoin is trading for about 20 times what it was only a week ago and is holding steady, and you say that the coin is dying? I'm sorry, but that's one of the dumbest things I've heard all day.

I don't think people understand that with VeriBit any god damn place that accepts Bitcoin will automatically accept Vericoin too because of how the system works. What other alt coin has news that big? Not to mention anon is coming via VeriSend, I just don't understand what people are thinking selling their coins.

the pump and dump is already done with this coin Cry  just bagholders are left now and still deciding of what to do. i've seen many many dumps worth about 100 BTC each. 26million VRC coins mined within a few weeks, some kids now are millionaire with your money.  Shocked

i liked this coin very much with its unique features and capable devs, but it was destroyed by p & d gangs. now too many bagholders left in the range 20-27K waiting to dump. remember the volume was 4500 btc , now only 150 btc and decreasing. i expect it go back to the pre pump levels. No fud, just a market observation.

I keeping seeing references to volume and how that's THE sign it's all going downhill. I'm curious though, did the volume not drop with BC and DRK during the lulls between their first rises and ATH?

Yes you are correct the Volume dropped in both of those cases and PnD gangs did not ruin those coins.

Also VRC has only been more than its value range for around 24 hrs so it has not made too many bag holders.

it is simple. no volume = no interest. i see 27К as ATH for VRC, not the first rise. just my thoughts.

Volume is low for all coins right now because BTC is crashing.

A whale is giving us the middle finger with that sell wall on 16,000. Completely bogged down the sell order book with his fake orders. Just takes one big fella to teach him a lesson he wont forget. That's a lot of VRC up for grabs at a VERY low price. Normally you'd have to buy everything atleast 2-5,000 Satoshi up the book to get a chunk of coins that large....

Careful.

So is it your opinion that the only reason the price is so low now is due to manipulation to acquire as many coins as possible by someone? This coin really should be higher than it is now with all the good news (not just rumor) we've had...

p.s. I'm fine with sideways movement and consolidation since it's healthy Smiley
