I have no sympathy for people who missed the ICO. The countdown site was up for a week. Most that are complaining are traders bummed they missed an opp at cheap VRM. I see this as a LT investment. If you want to get in do your research, know what you're getting into and follow the directions laid out for the ICO.
Been following this team/community for 2+ years and am happy I've stuck with VRC. I can appreciate Doug and Pat's "put your nose to the ground and get shit done by developing new tech" mentality and think it is a refreshing contrast to a lot of the egomaniacs in the crypto space. On top of this, they are innovating and sticking to what they know, blockchains with a cash/commodity purpose. I'm a big fan of KISS and taking your time to get things correct the first time and this team is the epitome of that mentality.

LOL pp still being fucked by VRC false promises and pump manipulation. This has been whales/scammer coin from teh start, even go back 2 yrs now to huge verihandcrew and those manpulation ppl back then who PnD this coin to hell. Now I see always has ONCE per year PnD action to just collect more btc from sheep. STOP buying into such dead crap to get burnt with everytime.
What kind of false promises are you talking about? Manipulators are going to manipulate. They manipulate everything, including Bitcoin. It's an unfortunate effect of an unregulated market.

?!? never said or labeled it as a scam, come on... Just that it seems this coin(s) is totally overwhelmed by speculators. That's because this coin has great developers and good principles. The problem is this coin has no promotion at times its hard to see there vision cause there so bright and excited that they get to technical it's hard for the laymen (me) to truly grasp. As a coin and the transmission of currency it's better then Bitcoin. They now have improved the coin and are going to tie it to a mineable crypto commodity.
With the ICO yesterday a stress test on 2million coins moving confirmations was lighting quick in a few minutes everything was confirmed and good to go. In the two years I've held this coins I have made 3,000 coins of interest better then any bank.
call me a shill but after two years I see myself as a believer in people and technology

Why did it go live 7pm EST on the 19th?
It's extremely frustrating to miss out and also see the price crash, it wouldn't surprise me if VRC price never gets above 20k again and the second phase of the ICO will be minuscule. Can't see any reason to hold this coin anymore after this, again very disappointing..
I think you are right. In my personal opinion this whole VRC/VRM thing is a big exit for nosker and his friends. They are trying to make the last bunch of BTC with these two coins and let them fall down when btc bear market begins again. It´s always the same.
If I wanted a big exit I would have done it two years ago.

A moment's thought would tell anyone that there is no 'Exit' here because there is no BTC or Fiat involved in the ICO.
On the contrary, it is a deeper commitment for the Dev team.
