Ok, im concerned now. I had just over 300 coins 20 min ago. For an hour prior to that ide mouse hover over the lol blue icon and it said i was staking and interest would be paid in 5 min or smtng to that affect. I had 300 or so in 'spendable' and 300 or so in 'stake ' , the wallet did not update, for well over an hour. SO I restarted the wallet. Now, I only have 300 or so coins in Stake and 0 in spendable. Please creator of coin people.. UNDSRETAND that people who are interested in this coin are NOT ALL SUPER CRYPTO GODS.. there is too much assumption that EVERY one knows on how this is suposed to work, and not any real information. Put yourslef in the shoes of a new to crypto person.. if your not reaching out to us then, why am I even bothereing with this.

I accidentally just spent all my btc on something called versioncoin thinking it was VRC. this really sucks. I hope you all do well.

They can't implement a fucking wallet correctly how are they going to implement ANON I got close to 40k fucking coins in midair can't wait to get out of this cluster fuck if I ever can money down the fucking drain!
The wallet is fine. You're staking your coins... that's what happens when you earn interest. They will be back in 8.3 hours from initial stake. If you've ever used Blackcoin and staked for the first time you would have encountered the same phenomenon.

The original tweet was not from an official source. I think something that he overheard from someone. You know how rumors go. It a was well meaning but inaccurate tweet.
If we ever go in that direction, The VeriCoin development team will announce it through official channels.

The devs have been busy with wallet issues and the multipool. It's not on the agenda at this point.
ANON is a whole can of worms that has to be carefully considered before making any decisions.

My Windows 7 Wallet is running like a top
no issues, staying up to date, Transfering
I just put a load of VRC's I got for less then 599 Satoshi into my wallet
Now they can mature and pay me interest and R off the market.

If the wallet didn't have the sync issues it would be worth a lot more. That's probably why you see sell offs.

This is what I did:
1) Removed wallet.dat from OLD vericoin app data..put in safe place
2) Deleted everything in old vericoin appdata including the folder itsself.
3) Downloaded 1.2
4) Installed 1.2
5) Ran 1.2 for a few minutes & closed it
6) removed NEW wallet.dat & replaced with old one
7) restarted 1.2
Result: Wallet is stuck on blk 21161 & I have no Coins in 'unconfirmed'
Am I doing something wrong? Why is this not user friendly, I feel like I need to go to college to figure this out. Any help would be appreciated.

I think I am all set now, can't do IRC as it shows my IP address, and im not very comfy with that. Coins are in hand.. I'm synced.. and I get staking stats when I mouse hover over the blue icon in the bottom right corner. Ty everyone.. sorry I had a zillion questions.. im not a crypto guru
