Am I right to assume that I need 128Mb of ram to mine with just one thread?

"Algo: scrypt² (N of 1024² or 128MB per thread)"

Shiny butts 128 mb... I have only 64 mb RAM. Bought my computer in 1999, and have never upgraded since then. I will try to mine this one though not sure my ancient PC can handle the load.

Will there be an advantage to run/stake both wallets vrc & vrm together at the same time ?!

Any reason withdrawal amount on the pool is so high?

Mr. Puparest Bentez will introduce new daily withdrawal limits. His plan is to prevent people from taking their rewards away.

transaction fees are high and/or have a funny way of stacking i believe.  (Testbug had mentioned it b4 but i can't find it now :/ ) . its setup to save everyone money on tx fees, i remember an earlier reference saying if it was set to 10VRM the fee would be like 0.6 to w/d or something :/  so he made it higher to optimize the fees for everyone.  AFAIK ;p
ty..Also one more prob dumb question. Is it pos?  Am I missing out on vericoin by mining through the pool? Or do I get that through POS?

the VRM plan is a big one Smiley  VRM itself is NOT pos, but its brother Vericoin is PoS only Smiley i wont explain more as im not the dev and will butcher it haha but check out the OP and https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annvrc-vericoin-proof-of-stake-time-currency-new-roadmap-released-602041 for more info there, Effectstocause has quite a plan for them to interact with one another Smiley

Hi
so it is till more profitable to mine solo? i've just downloaded the wallet, waiting till it syncs with the blockchain.
i have a simple laptop that was made this year, so I'm curious to see how much I can mine per day.

FYI Verium bootstrap is updated to yesterdays chain, if you need to update a long backdated node you can use File->reload blockchain and be up to date in 5 minutes.

This is very good, i am missing this feature on some other wallets Wink

Thank you for that.

@testbug
can you share the pool source?people can build other pools,This can make VRM more stable.

hi there testbug!

Im getting the following error on my worker:

[2017-01-16 ----] Stratum authentication failed
[2017-01-16 ----] ...retry after 10 seconds

I'm pretty sure I'm using the correct worker login and password configured in my poolinat0r account.
Is there something wrong with the pool at the moment?

same here Sad

also just noticed that there is no active worker at all.

yeah for everyone trying to sync verium wallets today, leave it open for a while and you will start finding connections. Super slow sync but I am syncin

If you want to sync up quickly using a bootstrap go to file->reload block chain in wallet user interface.

who in 2017 still excites anon?  Roll Eyes

Im still watching the progress that is being made on ramping up anon tech. I guess folks who watch "Mr. Bean in Room 426" are the target audience of Verium.
