The coin isn't associated with VirtaPay, or the creators, anymore. It is community-controlled. I may have not been clear, by "devs" I didn't mean the original creators, I meant the people developing things for this coin now.

Why Virtapay website is down and no network to sync
Me 2...No block source to sync...Already try for few days, same problem

How the conversion process worked is all user balances have been adjusted to 14% of their original size in order to fit within the parameters of the new system. For example: If you previously had a balance of VP$100, your new balance would be 14 VirtaCoin.
