You have made some interesting suggestions here. From a development point of view, the "regulating body" could be done, but it gets complicated from a legal point of view because it may require licensing, or bring us into a regulated area that I don't have too much experience in. It would require legal counsel, and a lot of thought and research before it could be launched. I will put some thought into it as to the basics of how it would work and do some research and see if it is something we can consider after the fiat exchange / online wallet.

Online wallet functionality is going to be separate from the fiat exchange. Basically, you will need to provide an address to send the WKC you buy from the exchange, whether it be to an online or offline wallet, or to the wallet installed on your PC.

The idea of helping to bring the WKC price up to where it should be with a support wall is good, but the problem I see here is that there is always going to be those miners that dump as soon as the price goes up. Say a group of us put together the 30 BTC to do this (~18,000 USD), and we get some miners dump all their WKC and eat up our support wall. What can we do about that? Demand obviously plays a big role here, so to me this seems like an idea that should wait until demand has increased, no?

I talked to Scooby and a basic rich list is almost done, he says it should be ready today or Monday.

fiat/exchange is online (works fine)
now you can directly promote your coin and sell easier to the consumer your membership , cam tokens ... whatever
(able to promote it , maybe open a aff. program ... it will open a wide spectrum of possibilities, not to list now all)

let assume ... you sell coins over fiat/exchange that you buy over a alt-exchange (driving a little the price up... over time)
not your coins... I hope, because that's the only way for us (other coin holder and miner) to stay with WKC (support it)...

after some time let say I see that the price is right to sell ...
when I drop my coins on the market the price would go to hell ... so this would be stupid
but maybe I need the cash (let say to open a service that would benefit the coin)... and now?

few suggestions ...
to open a regulating body (new site - foundation-investor bank whatever you like to call it)... with a voting system
coin holder can store coins and drop few $ or BTC ... and paying them a % /month
this could be easy done if you add a POS .... into WKC ... (or create a investor coin(that will pay %) 1000 wkc= 1 share) whatever is easier for you
example: not to fork the coin but add POS ... paying 50% miner 50% coin holder ...
buying coins at your foundation if needed  and alt-exchange ... gives you more room , more instruments to stabilize the price and other...

what gives us this...
let take lin0sspice ... he has let say 10.000 coins and paid 1BTC (~2BTC)
and need $ to finish his site ...
he send a request ... need 2BTC for ... WKC pill site... will pay 5% interest
(or let better say will not gain any interest that he would have if he only hold the coin for the time x) ...
the bank-foundation would get the coins ... take interest for the time...
after he has build his site and payed the 2 BTC back , he gets his coins back and gets later his % for holding ...
but WKC has one more site ... keeping the demand high-higher...

this was a small example what you could do...
finance small projects , buy sites (small-big) ... and other ...

its like a share (similar)... many companies buy other with shares why would WKC don't do the same
and also pay some dividend for share-coin holders?

- to stabilize the price we would need now 30BTC or 15-20-30 people (pushing up the price to 0.00045BTC/WKC and add support wall)
but you must make a platform with rules ... for us ...
so we know where to send our BTC and coins (WKC) and how much would we gain % .. and other
(its easier done than a fiat-exchange) and would bring us a big step forward.

it would make WKC a valuable asset (more than its now)

let say every member has to give
0.5-1 BTC and min. 1000-2000 WKC (whatever number) ... let say 1000 coin are 1 vote (or 1 share) ... POS /month ... / shares = monthly interest
so anyone can add more coin or how-much he is willing to add ... (would be frozen-hold by the bank-foundation ... min. 1 month)

only 100 member would add 50-100BTC or 30-60.000$ and min. 100-200.000 WKC ...
something we-you can work with... push up, stabilize price ... and other...
or throw some other numbers (if you think this is too much or too low)...
can be also ... 1 BTC and + 0.00001 BTC /coin... or 2 BTC for 100.000 WKC or 1.1 BTC for 10.000 coins ( it would be a one time payment)

I'm sure many will like this idea ...

My wallet is working properly... great news online wallet with cold storage is great.

there is a problem with your port settings which you need to be fixed.

What do your wankcoin.conf files look like?  Is port 9336 being blocked at all?

I'm unaware of any syncing issues currently.  Are you experiencing problems?

Online wallets are something we're considering, of which cold storage would be a part.  People's own wallets on their systems are something each individual will need to look after, though.  We have no control over how those are managed.  The wallets can already be encrypted and backed up as much as their owner would like.  They would also have the ability to prevent physical access to the machine with the wallet by any untrusted person.

Scooby suggestion - Cold storage wallets for WKC as well as security upgrades for the wallet (Especially all the earlier miners and purchasers who have decent amounts on hand) Don't want to read horror stories about peoples WKC getting stolen and dumped for peanuts which would affect the value/market etc.
