At http://tompool.org we're on block 45023 at time of writing, appears we're on the right chain and the block explorers (http://explorer.wankcoin.com) on the wrong chain? Tried resyncing the wallet from scratch and ended up on the same block, all minted blocks are fine and haven't orphaned.

Have any blocks minted after block 45000?

Found 3 blocks after 45000, still waiting for them to mature but looks like other pools might be on old wallets?

There has only been one release of the Wankcoin wallet/daemon.  There has been no previous or future version released yet, so there is no old wallet to use.

If someone compiled code from our github source to create their own wallet/daemon and didn't compile from the correct branch to match this version, they are using the wrong wallet/daemon.

I am still waiting to see if blocks after block 45000 from coin-miners pool mature.  I do not believe they will.  I am on another pool which is in sync with the block explorer, so I believe that pool is on the right chain.  Just my guess, hopefully I am not wrong.  None of the pools needed to update wallets, so I am not sure what's going on.

Either way, I am prob out 400+ coins from one of the pools  Angry

EDIT:

The official pool in sync with the block explorer.  So any other pools not on the same official pool block is on the wrong chain imo

The per-block difficulty adjustments have not been turned on in my opinion. The reason for the big jump is the hash rate jumped so high so fast. It went from about 8 th/s to 120 th/s overnight. This caused the normal block difficulty increase to go up accordingly.

Yes you won't lose that many. If it forked on 45000 you will only lose that block and anything past it until they get back on blockchain correctly. Sorry for any loss though the coins where you make money are far far to infrequent.

Ok, it does appear that the coin-miners pool has forked from the main network. I sent a message to them about it but haven't received a response yet. The main network is fine, but it will not recognize blocks 45000 and higher that are found on that pool. As for transferring coins earned from that pool, it should be fine if they are from blocks mined before 45000.

great, then my loss will be way less than 200 Grin

ok, then i think i've lost 200 coins because of the fork.

i think we should warn others to move their rigs out of coin-miners

How if they read here then they will be warned otherwise....

I have over 450 unconfirmed but we will wait and see how many of those were before.  If it happened at block 45000 then hopefully a lot will still confirm!

what's gonna happen if it's forked?

will i lose the coins mined on coin-miners.info?

all we can do is wait. It's probably not even forked.

Bad advice mrcashking.

coin-miners.info is forked.  Simply check the block explorer, http://explorer.wankcoin.com/

coin-miners is on next block 45,016    (Current: 45,015)

network is on block 45031 = forked pool

what do you want me to say to the poor guy? lol I want to see what dev thinks.

Try the truth so he doesn't waste his time

The truth hurts. lol

It does but.... I read that it forked look for my self definitely looks like it has so I MOVED all my rigs over so that I don't continue to lose more!
