I'd like to tranfer the xcp from my blockchain wallet to counterwallet. I find there is a 'import funds' button. It asks to enter the 'Private Key To Import'. Where can I find the 'Private Key' in blockchian wallet? And what is the format of the 'Private key'? Anyone uses the 'import funds'? Many thanks!

Counterwallet is live on mainnet: https://counterwallet.co

Please BE CAREFUL with your funds! Try an operation with a fraction of XCP or asset, get used to things, and then try more. Please email [email protected] with any bug reports involving loss or potential loss of funds.

Please BE CAREFUL with your pass phrase. Store it on paper, not on your computer. Store multiple paper copies in multiple different secure places. Do not give it a written description that would tell anyone what it's for (e.g. "My Counterwallet Password: " <=== bad move! Smiley ).

Also, please heed the following warning:
Counterwallet is BETA software and is still under heavy development. Please take caution in your use of it for storing and transferring funds on mainnet, and report any/all bugs. The Counterparty team cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen funds, although we will do everything in our power to prevent and rectify such situations.

congratulations!can't wait Cheesy

Is there anyway to check the volume of XCP which exists on / has been sent to / imported (into counterwallet) I find it interesting that there's not a giant wave of orders on the DEX following "going live," on Main Net.

Either Folks:
  • Still don't know its live?
  • Still don't understand how to import XCP?
          -or-
  • Are afraid because it's BETA?

Digitizing Valuable Hard Assets with Crypto
I'd like to know if the assets in this link are legit, and are they going to be traded on poloniex:

http://bitcointangibletrust.com/assets/

anyone?

Why would they be traded on poloniex?  They are being traded on the Counterparty distributed exchange.  Maybe not all of them yet, but they are being set up, and at least a couple of them are active.

If you click the link next to the asset it takes you here: https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_gold

That's why i thought it might be traded on poloniex.

Hi. Yes, we have created goldcoins for trading on Poloniex and we have started initial trades on both Poloniex AND Counterwallet. We haven't announced yet and are testing trades. You may learn more from our FAQ here. http://bitcointangibletrust.com/poloniex-goldbtc-trading-faq/ We are still testing whether there's demand for a market so we'd welcome any feedback on what has launched so far.

All gold coins on all exchanges have been purchased with Agora Commodities.

This is a lot better. I take it the information only needs to be provided to redeem BTT issued assets for physical? Seems like BTT would be better off in some jurisdiction other than US.

By the way, is the 2,000,000 Gold Eagle asset pending at http://bitcointangibletrust.com/assets/ for real? This would be about 2.6 billion USD in value.

Thank you td services. Your feedback is very helpful. We ask for contact information to be helpful for both purchase and redemption. We are using the same requirements for all gold sellers on retail. Yes, we are looking at the requirements on jurisdictions and may change those as we continue to learn the best path forward.

As per the assets, I've updated it to current gold coins purchase vs. issued. You may see the goldcoins trading online both on Poloniex here: https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_gold

Is counterpartyd/bitcoinRPC down for the testnet wallet?

Is it still down for you? Appears to be working for me.

We will be getting automated checking in place here shortly.

Quote
multiAPIConsensus: Parallel call failed (no server returned success). Method: create_send; Last error: JSON-RPC Error:

Type: Server error

Code: -32000

Message: local variable 'public_key' referenced before assignment

I thought you might have been running both on one server and switched your Nodes to mainnet?

It allows you to make multiple txs in the same block.

You actually don't need to do this. Using the output of a freshly created transaction/chaining unconfirmed transactions has the same effect, no delay and doesn't create so many entries in the UTXO set.

The only potential grey case is a break of the chain due to malleability. But with the latest changes this shouldn't be an issue at all.

Is sweeping supposed to work already?

Yes, it should, but please try sweeping from an address with a small (i.e. dust) balance first.

Or, wait for a few successful user reports (we have one person trying it out now)

I did try it with an address holding 100 XCP.
It didn´t work.
Nothing is happening, actually, if I click in "sweep". Is it my browser? (chrome)

edit_: the same with IE

edit_2: congratulations, the client looks great. Hopefully the sweeping will work, too.

I just tried a sweep with Chrome and it worked.

Try going to https://counterwallet.co/src and doing a sweep from that (this is simply the same counterwallet site, but does not use the minified .js and .css resources), and posting your results in https://forums.counterparty.co/index.php?topic=188  (a screenshot and any error text from the javascript console is most helpful)

What is "Primed"? Related to "Pending priming for My Address #2 for 10 more unspent outputs".

Edit: Ah, it creates unspent outputs:

https://www.biteasy.com/testnet/transactions/221acd85e4dcb320793c7baa4d1fde73bf8a53618011f81702e688e3e3af52b0

Nevertheless I'd appreciate, if someone could please explain the purpose of this. It creates outputs and I assume this is done to have "free outputs" available. But what's the actual benefit in contrast to chaining unconfirmed transactions? They are most likely included in the same block anyway?

Is there anyone who has a contact at BTER?  My xcp transfer has not gone through to poloniex for many hours now (still says Processing with no tx id) and i know 2 others with the same problem right now.  They never respond to my tickets!!!  Help please :-)

There is currently a problem with the XCP wallet on poloinex, ask one of the admins in the trollbox when it will be fixed.
I had a problem with my XCP transfering to my wallet from bter. I got a very vague response but I think they are looking into it. I think it might be the crypto.cipher module problem that was brought up some pages back in this thread.

yeah, Busoni@Polo said it's on Bter's end but they never respond to my tickets!  Did they actually email you back?

Yeah this is what they said
"Dear Sir,
Your request is recorded. The related person will check and fix it.
Thank you for patience"
They gave no information what so ever and kinda dodged my question on whats going on.

I am never making another trade there.  Still no answer to my tickets...  This is the third time I have ha a problem there with no response.  Still waiting on xcp transfer.  ugh....

Please delete bellebites messages and ban him from this thread.

I noticed that the chat box at least on mobile appears blank.

I canno longer build from source using windows 7 64bit. An error saying "GMP MPIR library not found" appears. What should I download?
