I'm not an investor, I'm a user.  To that end...

I've a short term goal for a simple web interface to fractional shares of an issue.
- Useful for non-technical people to see share ownership, and review accrued BTC dividends and see their value.
- To post bids and asks (for p2p trades of the issue, subset of localbitcoin features).
- Wallets for this may be centrally maintained so web users needn't load bitcoin-qt or counterpartyd, but may load them locally if they choose (blockchain.info model).

I'm just getting started (and admittedly have an abundance of distractions), if anyone is further along, a quick coder, or wants to take this idea, run with it, commercialize it and treat me as a customer, or just wait until I have something to look at, PM me and we'll chat it through.

There is a Web Wallet under development by the protocol developers.

For now you can use the blockscan.com website.

For this example I will use MoneyPak Trader, who has issued stock on top of the counterparty protocol. You can view the sharedholders and any dividend payments here....
http://blockscan.com/assetInfo.aspx?q=MPTSTOCK ,

If you are looking to issue a new currency/shares (or atleast experiment with it), counterparty is the perfect platform to do that. Most of the functionality that you are requesting is already available in the product and working well, it is just that it needs to be done from the command line. A easy to use web wallet will be available in the coming weeks.

Bitcoin is new, makes sense to hodl.
I'm Hodling long term too but I wanted to sell a small portion to invest in something else. But hell no at .009. I know it is healthy for long term but I thought for once burners

put up your prices on DEx, so we can have nice walls for centralized exchanges to follow

I'm Hodling long term too but I wanted to sell a small portion to invest in something else. But hell no at .009. I know it is healthy for long term but I thought for once burners

of XCP wouldn't follow the script.

1. New coin gets on first exchange
2. Price is pumped to all time highs within hours
3. Price shoots down immediately

I was not expecting it to hold at .027 but I did not think in less than 24 hours it would be 1/3 the price. Sheesh

Review trade price history at the outset for
NXT and QUARK.. very similar.
This thing is twice as valuable as mastercoin cause it works.
But XCP has 5x more coins.. so a good guess equation would be (speculation alert):
~0.3 BTC / 5 * 2 which puts it @ 0.12 or $120/coin @ $1000 = 1 BTC or $220/coin @ $2000 = 1 BTC

We have a long way to go up gentlemen, sell a little stock to spread out and let others buy... but hold 50 - 75% ! My 2 cents.

Now we are back down to .009. I understand what has been said about short term holders selling and people selling to get some of their investment back but seriously.

Do you people not know the value of what you are selling so cheaply? HODLl!!!!! and the buyers will be forced to pay more. .027 yesterday and you already panic sell .009.

::facepalm::

Price go there where it was before coinmarketcap and panic buyers who dont want miss train Cheesy Still not much happen after burned was over, so now is  good time buy in for they who dont burn and not do that with p2p. Maybe when web and final version of desktop wallets is out price go back to 0.015-0.025 but then there coming much more sellers than now who maybe start to panic sell in same way when price go little down. But its right nothing big have happen then also. Only all start to be ready from coin side, but then we need markets. But if there start to coming decentralized sport betting etc im sure price start nice stable increase . I dont expect price go much lower of this never again.

No its not my personal guess. Reputable member quoted 50 was burnt by developers.

I will say again. It's just your personal guess. Please pay more attention to the project. not these gossip.

Please review the definition of the word guess and personal. You missed the point oh well, better luck next time. Also it appears you may need to re-read my post. I'll say "it" again lol, No matter how much the developers invested, I'm still willing to donate. Ridiculous.  Roll Eyes

Looks like someone is artificially lowering the price of XCP to cause panic and take in the cheap coins.  Roll Eyes
That just means wider adoption. More users come in use the platform, issue assets, stocks etc...  and trade those in the distributed exchange. Good for the price in the long run.

Yes, I would like to have a donation address, I don't care if you burned 100 BTC already, you're getting more. Thanks.

they are using the donations for bounties

I'm alluding to a statement that the devs were self-sufficient and did not need donations due to the fact that they had already burned a significant amount of bitcoin and most likely have a serious amount of xcp as well... I'm being funny in favor of the developers, stating simply that.. I do not care if the developers had burned more than twice the quoted amount, that I would still be wanting to donate due to the fact that they are doing an incredible job.

This is your personal guess only.

And regardless, even though that's not accurate to say it's my personal guess, the point is as everyone's should be that we should donate in any case.

Is Moneypaktrader around?  I sent him btc for XCP on 02/13 EST. (My PM says I sent it on the 14th but it's wrong)  He didn't send XCP and he doesn't respond to messages or emails.  I don't care that he has a good reputation on here, his customer service just horrible.  If he didn't want to honor .005 anymore than he should be on the forums announcing it or take his offer off the spreadsheet in the XCP buy/sell thread.  Or, just send my money back.  Below is the PM I sent.

Sent another .1 BTC for 20 XCP

Thanks.  How much longer are you offering at .005?

Still nothing from Moneypaktrader.
