I have installed the voting module on the server. Please tell me if something is missing.

Thx  Wink  I will set up the poll now!

EDIT: Done, there is a small error in the python server. Multiple donations from one address are not accounted for when the voting weight is calculated. I will push a fix in half an hour.
Please do a "git pull", remove all *.dat in the externals/ folder, and relaunch the server then.

What is the final amount of BTC donated to your project ?

I see you have a listing website (looks useful) and so a reason to ask for a more precise figure than the "over 700" on the prior page of this thread.

The final display was:

"709.06 BTC   Donated by 496 people"

as of
"-2 Blocks   Time left"

all recorded in https://raw.githubusercontent.com/elastic-project/genesis-block/master/genesis-block.json

Oh well, thanks for the link I never thought to check from the genesis json.
I made a quick calculator, my result is 709.87208127 BTC donated (^^) for 3,906,489.54106177 XEL (considering 'mir_amount' = XEL).

I'm going to fix it on my website asap.

Quick question, how Sybil attacks are avoided in elasticracy (bitcoinocracy), if someone votes than shuffles the coins around and votes again?

its voting per address, so shuffling coins around wont change anything

nice! thanx evil! don't forget 500M and 1B as voting options.  Wink

Yes, although I don't support 500M nor 1B, few users wanted to vote for it, so please add these 2 options to the online version

I hope we gonna have a 2 stage voting, because the spread of votings for different options will be hight and 5m will definetly win.

not if you are able to vote for several different options  Wink

The democracy project is ready and uploaded to github

Feel free to use it for your project if you like!

Key Features:
- Multiple "questions" can be created, all with a unique timeout when the questions is closed and archived
- Each questions has multiple alternatives
- Users up-vote these alternatives by signing messages using the Bitcoin address associated with their XEL donation

Easy yet effective  Wink

Setup Information:
- Get source at https://github.com/OrdinaryDude/elasticracy
- You need ruby gems 2.3.1
- in config/initializers/user.rb you have to configure a username and passwort for the management interface where questions are managed/created/edited.
- issue a "bundle install" followed by "rake db:migrate" and "rails server" (or use another application server)
- in externals folder there is a "dummy python server" which assigns BTC addresses to XEL balances, this needs to run in the background (long term goal is to integrate the logic into rails). Do not forget to install the dependencies using pip from deps.txt

LANNISTER! Get this thing running as quick as possible, please!

Here, some screenshots:

... what a night  Wink

The ICO is over now. Can someone please make a timeline?

You are correct, I think a timeline or road-map could be a good thing for investors.

There are no investors. Lannister collected donations, with no guaranteed reward/profit and no percentual participation in anything whatsoever. Let's not claim anything else!

The development is sort of decentralised! There is no "head" who delegates tasks, but there are (meant to be) independent developers who program their stuff, and all parts which are put together by consensus are Elastic. So I can only give a road map for what I am programming which is basically the Wallet, the Reference Client implementation, the Elastic Programming language and the Mining application. I will try to do it today within the next few hours, I was tied up the last 2 days with the voting platform so this got a bit delayed. The voting platform will go online today as well (Lannister I will check it into Github and you could it install on your server, right?)

Roadmaps for the website (Isarmatrose is working on it as far as I remember), for Promotions and Articles (I guess Lannister would be the one doing that) and other parts of Elastic (we still need a guy for the block explorer, faucet, etc.) have to be done by those people then.
