Myriadcoin 0.8.99.8 - Required update
This version implements a security improvement in Myriadcoin and is a required update.
The change will come into effect starting at block 142000 (about 6 days from now).
Please update your daemons and wallets as soon as possible.
Technical description
Previously the work a block contributed to the blockchain was determined by the difficulty of the algorithm used to solve the block.
This gave higher difficulty algorithms (like SHA) an advantage over lower difficulty algorithms in certain cases.
This change implements algorithm weightings to normalise the work a block contributes to the block-chain across all the algorithms.
The weightings for each algorithm is based on the work required to calculate a specific hash algorithm.

The program cant be started because libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll is missing. I downloaded it opnew and yet I Cant open the QT of the new file
got it. will fix.
the file is included in the folder, you sure you're not running it from zip without extracting it first, I had no problems with the built qt just downloaded and ran it, it's up and synching. also node and block explorer are updated.

Looks like path to QT has spaces - so sometimes that error occurs because of that. If libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll is in the same folder where myriadcoin-qt.exe is, of course.
Try putting all QT files into folder that has no spaces in the path, i.e. c:\MyriadQT\ and run from there.

By the way, nobody ever had issues with wallets, and, as you say (assuming it's the truth, but i HARDLY believe), if you could store them in a wallet
and then cant open the wallet, the problem is in YOUR pc, maybe u erased some file, otherwise it wouldnt have opened to store coins at first.
