After how many confirmation can I close the miner programe when I solo mined a block?

You can close it instantly confirmations are coming from network blocks not only from blocks mined by you
I don't think so.A few hours ago I solo mined a block and I closed miner in less than 30 seconds right after I saw the notice of an unmature block coming to my wallet. Then this block was gone away from my wallet!

Either it was an orphaned block or you mined it while your client was out of sync. Accepted, confirmed and in-sync mined blocks will stay in your wallet without additional confirmations needed by your miner

ok thanks

Myriadcoin needs more promotion, as some users mentioned above.

I think the first task should be a web site for Myriadcoin.

Let me know if anyone is willing to design and host a basic web site.

Any users willing to donate to bounties, please send donations to MWShVDmRxWagXcrKHbBSDb2q7EsXxjApA4.

Also if there are users willing to run social media, Facebook, Twitter, etc., please let me know.

Thanks!

At last a truly innovative coin, but i really hate the fact that's not getting the attention it deserves.

8bitcoder, how about some bounties?

Agreed, this coin is not received the attention it deserves, people keep asking for innovation, this coin has it, and it servers a purpose. I think some marketing plan could help, because in my opinion the main 2 reasons why it's not more popular are because not many people is aware of it and because somehow people don't understand that CPU, GPU and ASIC mining don't compete between them! And this could get cleared with some promotion.

I've mined a bunch and am willing to throw some of those coins at bounties for marketing efforts. Does anyone have any good ideas for marketing?

How it works
Each proof of work algorithm has its own independent difficulty.
Any algorithm can find the next block.
All the algorithms use the same difficulty adjustment method.
On average, each algorithm has the same chance of finding the next block.

Each algorithm aims for a block generation time of 2.5 minutes. If the miners for an algo are lucky, they can find more than one block in 2.5 minutes, so there is no restriction on which algo can find the next block. Of course if a specific algo finds blocks too fast, its difficulty is adjusted upwards.

Over the five algorithms, a block should be found on average every 30 seconds.

=== NODE IS OK! ==
I like this coin because it has a similar approach like Vertcoin, but approaching from a different perspective. While Vertcoin aims to eliminate ASIC mining to give everyone an equal chance to participate, Myriad does that by introducing multiple algorithms at once, giving even more opportunity than Vertcoin. I expect Vertcoin to rise 10x and Myriad 100x just because of these advantages.

I think it is like 5 different coins united in one. There is no competition between them. And total reward actually is 5000 coins in 2.5 min.

I think the difference was caused at the launch when there were mostly sha and scrypt miners

Thats one more question for the dev, what happens with the block if its not solved by the appropriate algo..

added 24h diff graph for scrypt+groestl+qubit algos I think I'll have to do separate graphs for skein and sha because the valuse are so high they're gonna make these other 3 algos look like a bottom straight line Smiley any thoughts guys ?

A 24h graph that shows how coins are spread between algos ? I am not so sure they are proportional ..

it's done ... check it :

Great work!! With such an awesome community this coin is going to the moon!! Smiley
EDIT: Hmm, 16043 total blocks ? I'm getting 8657 via getmininginfo ?!

yeah something's off let me check.

done now showing correct amount of blocks and coins (blocks*1000) generated Smiley any other ideas just let me know.

Developer should explain the difference between sha256(24.9%) skein (15.3%) and three algos at 20% ? Stronger hash power gets more blocks ?? What happens if asic miners increase hash rate by 2 or 3 times ? They get all the blocks ? This should not happen, this is a flaw in the algo and should be corrected in the next update, blocks should be spread equally accross all algos.

I already posted that last night ... well not that per-say but a statistic showing blocks/algo I guess I can do a pie chart with blocks per algo.
