I'd really prefer not to have to scrap to be honest, and keep chasing html or url changes.

The former was superior cause it had api for all coin difficulties. Guess its time to scrape insight.

Reminder for anyone new to Myriad: We have a very unique p2pool system in place (http://myriad.p2pool.geek.nz/merge) and it will be used in the future specifically to develop my "Multi-vPoW" concept: http://coinbrief.net/myriadcoin-merge-mining/

If you haven't read it yet, give it a quick read and hopefully you'll get some ideas yourself for some great ways to innovate through the Myriad Platform.

I have myriadcoin qt wallet. I have backed up my wallet. How do i restore that backup if neccesary in the future?

If you have copies of wallet.dat, that should be all you need. You can specify that wallet, or just put it in the default data directory, on any other computer. If want to make a paper wallet or something you can also dump the private keys and print them out I guess, but really probably just need a copy of wallet.dat.

Hi CryptoJohn - sorry I play my hand quietly really.

Division amongst supporters of Myriad is not I good thing so I will try to explain my opinion in a little more detail so you might understand my position. Don't worry I have a thick skin AND I also respect everyones opinion - I have an open mind but follow MY convictions until convinced otherwise.

First - I had already come to the the same conclusion and gameplan of LTCMAX...

I am not a blind follower (ha bloody ha) -  rather a seasoned crypto supporter since 2011 - go figure

I dont need a few million more MYR - or anything else

I support what I think is good with my investments

MYR is better than good - that is why I have invested heavily in it. The "attack" on MYR was way more than annoying to me - I was seriously pissed!

I had already figured that if I see any sign of dumping of the "stolen" coins with the timewarp - I WOULD DUMP IN THEIR FACE - to devalue their exploits.

Dont worry because thats only a short term thing - after they walk with their meagre pickings from their nefarious experiment with insta-mine - I and seems MAXLTC... will restore the price to better or more - AND create a huge buy-in opportunity for everyone else who believes in MYR.  Dont forget that anybody who dumps on the dumpers is actually putting up quite a potential loss to minimise the return (and any future incentive to further attacks) to the scum who attacked Myriad.

Rest assured please that I am not here to wreck MYR - I am here to make it come out the other side and be a successful coin.

If you don't agree with me thats fine - I am actually starting to think that most of the coins from the attack have actually been skillfully/quietly sold to keen larger investors over the last few days without plunging the price at all. You may note the volume increase and lots of big buys (probably significantly by myself and LTCMAX....) rather than blind sells to capture BTC's asap. As such, the price will just continue to go up and no intervention to limit the gain of the "attackers" may be necessary.

But believe this - if there are dumps which are suspicious and devalue MYR I intend to take action to limit any illegitimate gain by whom I consider criminals.

And here is something else worth considering.  The people who will resist the strongest - price decrease to curb illegitimate gain - and god forbid a rollback to vaporize the stolen coins - will actually be those who perpetrated the attack.

I am carefully watching opinions voiced just in case there is a slip up by those that might be responsible.

United we stand - divided we fall! Choose to attack me thats your decision but I assure you we are 100% on the same side in support of Myriad.

Lets work together please for the betterment of MYR

Cheers usukan

you are correct IMO - and I am watching your back

I was thinking the same thing as rentodev. ltcmax sounds like a cancer to alts. Big holders are like big corporations, they are bad for everyone. Little man syndrome is a bitch Cry

do you understand altcoins?
do you remember MYR 600 sat?
many people, include me,lost money on MYR,
to keep the coin alive, must keep the  the network running, and keep the netdiff not too low,and pay for the miners, did you pay?
not everyone keep all coins, each coin have big holders.
they keep buying and keep the price not too low,
if not,miners gone,dev gone,coin dead.
the mintpal stolen  millions of MYR, the attacker inst-mine millions of MYR,should we drive up the price ,pay for the criminals?
no. never compromise,i can burn even 10BTC but never pay 0.001BTC for the criminals.
what do you want?what will you do?

@ltcmax: When you threaten to purposely dump a coin down to x sats you become part of the problem. You can't talk you way out of a statement like that...period. If you misspoke then issue a correction. And yes I do remember 600sats, the bag I hold is worth pennies on the dollar but you dont hear me threatening anything.

@usakan: Blindly following others is a fools game and how you get screwed in the end but nice try...maybe max will send you a few million for "having his back".
