Personally, I would like to see more developers working on Nano or Nano-based projects. 48 contributors? I sure hope this goes up. https://github.com/nanocurrency/raiblocks/graphs/contributors Clemahieu leads the rest in commits.

To be completely fair, after the name change from RaiBlocks to NANO the price did go down and interest in the coin dwindled.
And this was during the heights of Bitcoin, devs should have kept RaiBlocks but I guess listening to corporate marketing teams is more important than the userbase.
It's possible that the change of name had some effect on price, but in general rebranding is not the cause that price is go down. BitGrail Nano hack is made much more damage than anything else since between 150$ million and 200$ million is hacked at that time. All those users who have lost coins then were deeply disappointed and most stopped to support Nano.
That was a big blow for this coin, and big BTC correction after 2017 ATH made the rest. It would be unrealistic to expect that Nano price is 10$ today, but in next BTC pump I am sure Nano will go up, so this is great time to buy more coins.

Last bull run showed us some surprising coins reaching at top positions which were infamous and new for many people like Nano. Now it is well known and development is constant with continuous improvements. I expect another surprising move in next bull run next year. Speculation is important part of any market so periodically reminder isn't bad to keep the people warming up. Nano's markets are growing and it is becoming accessible in every part of the world with listing on every new exchange.

I have a feeling that NANO will be available in the supermarkets soon
. That's what I call real adoption. The coin is been excepted as an alternative payment tool which has proved its efficiency and that's cool.It is not easy as people are dreaming about big spike will happen soon and it will become hot favorite coin of all big merchants and big companies will move on this platform. This coin don't have decentralized system behind this so this is the big reason why it will remain around this position.

Guys, when Nano was worth $ 16 I told you it was the end of Rai-Blocks when they changed the name and that before the end of the year it would reach less than $ 1, they all insulted me and treated me again and apprentice, now that it is .80 cents, who says something? In less than two months it will reach .20 cents and it will stay for a few more months in .20, then it will fall to value 0.5 to '0', it will not have any value and it will disappear ... continue without listening !!! !

Nano price today have nothing with change the name / rebranding, but with BTC price which is pull down all altcoins. Last time Nano price was 16+$ is around March 2 this year, but ETH was also around 800$ in May this year and now is 90$. Take some time and study charts on coinmarketcap, maybe some things will be clearer for you.
If BTC price is fall even lower then Nano will follow that as other altcoins, there is no any mysteries in that.
Indeed there is no big mystery behind this why all altcoins are following the footstep of the king of this crypto universe. I'm totally agreed with you that is exact time to take advantage of low price if we have some patience than we can make big profit.

You guys should learn what is the speculation market rather than creating more non sense comments. I thought that everyone has known the risk by join on this market place. This is a wild market and that's it. Newcomers or Newbies in Stock markets or crypts always think what others say, especially in social media or over the internet. Most often they do not do research. This happened to me when I used to trade in stock market and after years of experience I just don't believe what other speculates, especially with respect to prices. I just hold or buy more of coins which offer something real of benefit to us and try to buy more when price drops more with also some investment in savings whenever I can just in case something go horribly wrong.

I believe in Nano's project because of the amazing technology. If it doWe are in the right project and anyways, it could be possible that Nano never be succesful.. but the success of this project wouldn't be because of the coinbase listing.
I guess that some people is looking only for the short term gains and in my opinion it's one of the main problems we have in the crypto ecosystem,
Keep calm and if you believe in the project, buy, hold and live your life!!

I missed it completely. Only few knew including me that most of the Nano were distributed through Faucets that ran around 2 years. It was bad luck to miss so many free Nanos.

i highly doubt it will reach .20 cents but if it does i will buy alot
Whole market situation is like that only. Almost all have faced steep fall in year 2018. 2018 was bad year for cryptos. But I think this is the time to pick up some good coins which offer something new or going to solve something we need. Nano is definitely one of them as it will not need any scaling. With another coin Ark, Nano can do wonders. Just bought more of them couple of days ago.
