How can i download linux wallet, ultranote.org wallet link not working. What about mac wallet. In your website Mac wallet is their on FUTURE DEVELOPMENT, What is the expected release date of mac wallet?

Wallet links not released yet. Once wallet is released then anyone can start mining. So Windows and Linux wallet links will be posted about 5 min before mining time.
Yes, Mac wallet will be created in 1st quarter of 2018 so between January-Mars they will be published.

Seriously!?!  Grin

What I asked wasn't exactly rocket science. But I guess the dev's are too busy being "open, approachable and contactable".
something guys have with math is wrong
If the first month is 320k per block, then the price will be 1 satosh
somewhere they were too smart

Our block reward is based on this calculation:

bool Currency::getBlockReward(size_t medianSize, size_t currentBlockSize, uint64_t alreadyGeneratedCoins,
  uint64_t fee, uint32_t height, uint64_t& reward, int64_t& emissionChange) const {
  assert(alreadyGeneratedCoins <= m_moneySupply);

Please do the math and let me know.

That does sound complicated and my math may be wrong. I just figured that "halving period every month for 12 months" meant that the reward/block would be halved every month for 12 months.

It sounds like it is a lot more complicated than that. So I will shut up now, give you the benefit of my doubt. And see how things turn out :-)

All the best and good luck!

Thank you. We have done lot of changes to XDN source code so rewards might be higher and last for longer time, but never less than 150 coins constant.

Guys it is sad to see people complaining about every small thing. We are working hard to make this happen. You are getting in a new coin without having to put 1 cent of your money in and you keep saying this is not legit or we do not care about community. If we did not care we would not be doing video tutorials or make things as clear as possible. Why does it matter where we take the answers to your questions? I posted a part of the whitepaper here to help understand why we have 85billion coins with 6 decimal place. Everyone is entitled to get a clear answer to their question.

Don't be impulsive and feel entitled to everything because no one is entitled to everything. We are inviting you to join us in the new adventure if you think its not what you need you are a free man. You trust people you do not know with your hard earned cash in ICOs just look at their website and never talked to the dev team personally. But you dare coming here and question our integrity. I am sorry to say but this cheap, very shameful and disrespectful. be patient. We are not doing ICOs or Premining you are getting a free lunch here so be respectful. thanks
Also huge thank you to those supporting us in the project.
Cheers

It looks as though supply of coins is too big...
do you plan to burn the unsold coins?
when sale will open?

I have just answered this question in another comment please check.
Sale on what if there is no premined coins and there will be no ICO?

I am also looking forward to being a part of a completely new launch!

I have only one question.

It says Block reward:150 XUN constant

But then you state an initial block reward of 32.000 XUN, with a halving period every month for the first 12 months.

Doing the math, that means:

1st month: 32.000 XUN
2nd month: 16.000 XUN
3rd - 8.000
-||- So on and so forth
until
12th month: 15,625 XUN/block

So in my eyes, it doesn't really add up

Unless of course you meant to say that the initial block reward will be 320.000 XUN. Then the math would hold.

Or is it just me?

Where have you got 12th month: 15,625 XUN/block from?
Yes we are too busy creating video toturials.

Block Rewards

Initial XUN block reward (on Nov 1st, 2017) will be 32 000 XUN, with a halving period every month for the first 12 months. This provides the main XUN coin unit amount for free market use and reduces the likelihood of miners manipulation in future, thus making a Libertarian Crypto Economy more achievable.

Pre-mining has not been allowed on the UltraNote public blockchain, it goes against the libertarian economy mantra of the Dev team. Anybody can mine from 1st November 2017 @ 00:00 GMT.

The constant base mining reward for UltraNote makes it simple for miners building CPU-mining infrastructures to calculate their efficiency.

From the 1st post in this thread... I simply divided the initial block reward by 2, 12 times...

If the dev's really care one bit about community support. An error like that should be corrected promptly.

Not replied to with a pile of text, copy/pasted from another forum. Or their own website.

Sad though. I was sort of hoping for this one to be legit

Yes, this is legit.

Hey Guys thank you for your support in this project. As you may have noticed this project has been designed to be as fair as possible and as rewarding as possible for everyone joining us at any period of time.
The XUN team has a vision, the dream to launch a coin which would truly represent the core essence of cryptocurrencies by creating an egalitarian ecosystem. It is a rare opportunity that is given to everyone of to join in a coin which does not require you to put your hard earned cash first into the game to get your foot in.
The Devs has not premined any coins and are not doing an ICO. We are on the same level as you. This is how we prove to you our most honest interest in opening a door to prosperity for all. Regardless of your age, gender, race or social background you just need a laptop to start mining and get your load of XUN. Deposit them to gain interest and let them grow.
As Desp said exchanges need to see the blockchain live to list the coins as they have to test the code and create wallets for the exchange accounts etc. As soon as we go live on the 1st we will start the process to list XUN. Rest assured tho we already contacted the exchanges they themselves told us to contact us later when XUN blockchain is live.
Regarding the Coin supply the 6 decimal place has a real purpose since the coins are truly counted in units and not in coins. For micro transactions its good to have a high supply of coins but with fewer decimals. Here is the part of the whitepaper where we discuss the subject. for example its easier to buy a coke with 2 XUN than .00014 Bitcoin.

A fixed and predefined amount of 85Billion  XUN will be mined over 30 years to make sure that the distribution and mining of Ultranote will still be running for our next generation of users and allow the maximum of people to participate in this new adventure. Cryptocurrencies being still at the infancy stage we are anticipating a gradual but rapid expansion of the market over the next 10 years. A fair amount of coins will not only create an excellent level of liquidity to provide for micro-payments but also control the level of inflation on the asset so as to again allow a wider global participation and organic growth due to its affordable price. Our aim is to make XUN available to everyone in order to gain access to a secured anonymous and untraceable platform where people from anywhere in the world regardless of their race, financial means, age or gender can communicate and transfer funds in total confidentiality.

Even if 85Billion coins can be perceived as enormous; moving the decimal place to 6 instead of 8 or even 12 like well-known cryptocurrencies; the XUN supply aligns perfectly with the major brands supply without having to divide the coin too much when dealing with micro transactions.

An example of XUN supply against other Altcoins.
 18,446,744.073709551616       -12  (Monero)
        21,000,000.00000000      -8    (Bitcoin)
     85,000,000,000.000000            -6    (Ultranote)

From the above example we can see that we are a bit higher than BTC supply but lower than Monero. We should look at it from the total units supply not total coin supply. For micro payments we are well positioned to be quick and stable.
Thank you again all of your for you amazing support in this project.
Regards
XUN team
