I'm having troubles opening the ZenCash Wallet. It keeps saying "Cannot connect to server, EOF reached"
I tried deleting the .conf, as well as re-downloading the wallet.
Any know how to make the wallet work?
The reason for this is usually that zend has not started properly and the GUI wallet cannot connect to it, (Avoid shutting down or restarting OS before closing wallet).I tried deleting the .conf, as well as re-downloading the wallet.

so suddenly all the zend (6 diff Swing wallets on 6 diff computers here) around the world started having problem at the same time ? Wow, just wow.
my wallet seems to continue crash at around block 252000. some issues lately with the blockchain?
No , you probably closed wallet accidentally or by force (Restart, Power of) so you should do reindex.https://github.com/ZencashOfficial/zencash-swing-wallet-ui/blob/master/docs/TroubleshootingGuide.md
There's a known wallet bug we're working on, thus far an annoyance requiring -reindex per that troubleshooting guide; still, we want to solve ASAP so we have the team spun up investigating. We think we've isolated the issue and should have resolved soon. KEY POINT: Your ZEN is absolutely safe, this isn't a blockchain issue and it doesn't involve losing any funds...best practice is always to backup your wallat.dat file / private keys. Sorry for the inconvenience!
