The idea behind paying nodes is to encourage everyone with the means to run a full node.
You're not really being paid for your 42 zen investment, your being paid for running a full node.
The 42 Zen is there mostly to prevent something like a virus/botnet running many zen nodes.

I don't think someone running more than one node brings much additional value to the network,
So I would guess you will only be able to run one node per IP address or something like that.

If i am correct it is 42 zen for 1 masternode. It means 7.4/ month.

1 - How many masternode max per person ?
2- May the reward of 7.4 changes in the futur if yes under which conditions and how much  and when?
3- Can i sell the  masternodes when i want ?

Thx
More questions pondering...

The PoS reward can not be 7.4 Zen for a 42 Zen masternode a month. That´s too much. Think about the inflationary consequences..

Q= There can be a higher Zen stake Masternodes right? Maybe? A super masternode for more than 42 Zen?
Or is one Node exactly 42 Zens? That small price for a node would keep the network nicely secured as there would be ALOT of nodes.

How much zen do we need to than have for the 7.4 zen reward ??

Ok i found the answer ; (d)  Keep at least 42 ZenCash on the server in a t
address for staking.

Hi,
I have a few questions about zen, yours answers will be appreciated.
1)Is zen any different from  zcash in terms of actual technology or is the difference just ideological?
2)zen is claiming to be the most anonymous coin !! How does it compare to other privacy coins when it comes to that point.
3)Zclassic owners get free zen for holding zclassic up to block 11000 or something, does this mean zen is premined for distribution for zclassic holders up to that block?
4) is zen only a privacy coin or does it hope to be more than that, in other words are there any other features planned for the future.

Thanks

Do we have a Zen wallet yet?

"ZenCash core team decided to delay the launch by 7 days, to May 30th." From the OP.

The ZenCash network target size is to be at least 1,000 fully operational nodes. At this size at least 7.40 zen will be rewarded to each node operator. In the event the ZenCash network size has not been reached the DAO may allocate some of its discretionary funds to encourage node deployment.

Only 7.4 zen pay for a node / month , I think that is bad bargain for who is own zen node!

So I remember when "Zero Coin" was a concept that one of the negatives was that it was going to take forever to process (like Bitcoin) and that it would have to be seeded with some number (which could be abused by the person placing the seed). Does those things still apply to Zencash?
Of course not.

Zen has a different algorhythm. It´s related to Zcash most closely.

Is there any miner for Nvidia cards?

Yes, EWBF miner works excellent. I have several GTX 1060 rigs and that's what I currently use.

1 or 2 gtx 1080 will be enough for mining this zcash alt coins?

It's all relative to what your goals are. You won't mine much Zcash running two single 1080s (about 960 sol/s with both). It all depends on what  your goals are, I can't be the one to answer that Grin.

Yes right, not a real goal in mind just thinking to build a gaming desktop and if i can use it also for mining would be great. Maybe for me is a waste of time, better buy coin in exchange.

What is better for mine Equihash-AMD RX 580 4 or 8GB?
Or Nvidia 1060 6 GB?
You use only 1060?

I have a rig with 6 RX480s 4GB which give around 1740 H/s @ ~980Watts (using a 1200W 80plus gold PSU)
I also have two 6 GTX1060 3GB rigs which give around 1620 Sol/s @ ~720 Watts (using a 1200W 80plus Platinum PSU)
Lastly I have a rig with 4 GTX1060 and a single GTX 1080 which gives me around 1560 Sol/s @ ~660Watts (using a 1200W 80plus platinum PSU)

Keep in mind all those numbers abovee are with some heavy undervolting and underclocking.

RX 580s are the same card as RX 480s but with a more aggresive bios (consume much more electricity)

I don't think the amount of Vram affects the hashrate (if anything) unlike ETH.
The GTX 1060s hash a bit less than the RX 480s (same as 580s) but consume much less power.
I would recommend the GTX 1060s, although the 480s are much more versatile for other coins.

Hi, I'm keeping an eye on this project, but the postponement scared me because several rumors are coming up, however, I'll be watching.
