I solo-mine, but it depends on the total amount of hashing power you have. With just one BE you are better off joining a pool.
What are you guys mostly mining this with, block erupters?
Yep, 60 of those.
Cool, might switch mine over. No point in mining BTC with them anymore. Is it worth solo mining with them, or are they too slow?

Benefits/Negatives of making ZET able to be merge mined alongside btc? Is it even doable?
The specific reason ZET took off and the reason people like it is because it's not merged-mined.

It doesn't sound illegal to me.... You can just use your pc to mine a few coins it's not like difficulty is anywhere near bitcoin levels!
