zet network is not very strong right now.
Uno is looking for coins to merge. Zet is being discussed on the uno thread. Is merging ZET with UNO an option for ZET-community? Would probably need to sacrifice the 30s-blocks but would ensure survival and increase network security.

I thought i start a little discussion. What's your take on it?

Any thoughts on merge mining with Unobtanium?

haha - same moment  Wink

It could be a win for both coins.

I don't think Uno supports AuxPow for merge mining at the moment, is this being planned?

Yes, this is a great idea.

Where there is a will there is a way.
There is very positive feedback for UNO to enter supporting AuxPow.

Devs teams need to speak with each other.

Both coin communities can help raise some fund incentives.

yes WIN WIN  Cheesy

I'm okay for merged mining as long as the Zetacoin consensus does not change.  (no hard forking Zetacoin).
This would require Uno to hard fork.

This coin is great for solo mining. My 50Gh machine is finding about 50 blocks a day, fun times :-)

If you want more fun,  try solo on that ice drink coin ... Diff around 100  Smiley

I have a private pool for both ... PM if interested.

sgminer mines lots of different algos,,, i'm just surprised if it will not mine SHA256.
I'll look in to it more

I have r9 290's to mine with

cheers

Please don't waste your time/power/money/etc. mining SHA256 with an R9. It's pointless.

Thanks
My sgminer kernel folder has NO SHA256 .cl file ,,,,, does that mean i would have to use a different miner ?

You would mine this the same way you mine Bitcoin.  SGminer I think is only for X11 coins, you need to use BFGminer or CGMiner.   What hardware are you looking to mine with?

Example:

Code:
   cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://zetacoin.securepayment.cc:27334 -u WALLET_ADDRESS -p ANYTHING
    bfgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://zetacoin.securepayment.cc:27334 -u WALLET_ADDRESS -p ANYTHING

sgminer mines lots of different algos,,, i'm just surprised if it will not mine SHA256.
I'll look in to it more

If you want to mine SHA256 coins with SGMiner I think that you would need to use the psw kernel

psw - Pavel Semjanov optimised kernel, SHA256 speedups.

Yep I see that psw.cl

Thanks

OH and he stole 1/2 my name this Pavel chap
