I do not think its a bubble just yet. I do think we were overdue for a correction and thats why you saw BTC post a -10% today but as for a bubble Id strongly say no. I say this because the general person does not know about BTC or if they do they will not invest in it. This may change towards the end of the year, and especially will change it bitcoin continues to rise as it has and makes its mark at 4-5k per coin. We are close, but no cigar just yet

The actual Bitcoin bubble occurred when the price rise hit $500 from the $150 range and settled back to $350 a few weeks later. lets see what happens next in bitcoin world.

Just checked coinmarketcap, everything so green. Are we in for another bubble already? Isn't it too soon? The previous one was just over like a week ago.
Any news? What caused this?

Hahahahah everything so green?  Grin

Look at the coinmarketcap today and check whether everything is still so green. It's bleeding today dude, after bitcoin dump. Only a few of them are green now.
that's how the fluctuation really makes so profitable for those who understand the drill, unlike before that when we see btc rise up alts will fall then when btc dump down alts will rise up, now its really hard to assess whether this moves is still for real or there's only few whales who's working behind those alts movements.

there's no bubble. it's called increased mass adoption. and actually we could even argue about how "massive" this mass adoption actually is. while bitcoin is little by little paving its way into the mainstream press, most of people who heard about it neither own it nor understand it and would be able to store it securely\use it on a daily basis\trade it. let alone ethereum and the altcoin ecosystem. the number of ethereum wallets is still less than 10millions, at least last time I checked. 10 millions is fucking nothing.

will there be a bubble? sure. are we in a bubble? no. when there will be REAL mass adoption, then talking about bubbles will make sense. anything before that is just pointless FUD

Bubbles cannot be recognized as bubbles immediately, we need to wait after the fact to now that something is a bubble, only after we see a fall in the price we know we were in a bubble.

Damn, almost everything went into red zone today, looks like some sort of bubble popped. But overall i think the general trend is upwards, as the popularity of altcoins is increasing. Also, it looks like ETH could surpass BTC in market cap any week now.
Considering all the events, i think the prices of majority of altcoins, will continue to grow over the next weeks and further away.

Bubbles are necessary for a prosperous market. Don't worry, it's not yet time for the bubbles to pop.

Speculating is fun and all, but the best thing I ever did was buy a bunch of btc in 2011 and just leave it alone.  I play a little with change here and there, but I think the bigger, long term questions - e.g., are cryptocurrencies here to stay? - are easier to guess than what some random coin is going to do in the next 24 hours.

I think we are still in the early phases of bubble formation and don't think we will truly be there for another 6-12 months once altcoins hits mainstream news day in and day out. That is when the average person starts putting all their money into any and every coin and those are the same people that will panic sell once their coin drops a few %.

Ah, the term of the year, bubble.  Let's throw tulip in there for good measure.  There are market indicators and there are true bubbles.  Once a term hits the forums and the chat bars, there is no stopping it and the term will be used, over-used and abused until it has run its course.  This is, of course, by definition, not a bubble, but it is defined as market course rise as defined by the economics community in 1932.

we are see everything in coinmarketcap is green and red too many times and i think we are in another bubble. i think its not too soon because this is already happen and many coins has rally to increase the price. i think its good for us because we can make another profit and if the price is getting up more, then we can increase our profit.

We are seeing a rally in some of the coins but there is a negative rally in some coins too,if you look at the biggest losers you could see that some coins have lost over 25 % in the pasts twenty four hours and the volatility remains huge in almost of the coins .If you are following a coins just check the range in which the coins are trading and then you could understand how things work.

Altcoin has been in a weird state recently. It just keeps on rising even though all the indicators say that it's going to go down very soon. As we speak now the coinmarketcap page is around half red/half green. Most of this activity is caused by the increase of bitcoin price as well, since coinmarketcap measures altcoin worth in USD terms. Personally I just don't see this as sustainable growth. I mean especially when bitcoin dominance is at an all time low of 43%, it's not going to last very long. There is absolutely no reason for ripple and ethereum market cap combined to exceed bitcoin's.

I remember when ETH was first getting started and people said they felt like it was pumping too fast and was a bubble and would be corrected. Of course the DAO hack happened and what not, but you'll always have doomsayers. Will it eventually drop some? Very likely. When? If you knew that, you'd be rich (sell off most of your holdings, and short the rest for maximum profit).

Every time the price rises a bit, and everything goes green, then people think it's a bubble

This is a roller coaster ride just enjoy it

Don't worry about small rise and fall look at the bigger picture
