Reflect to yourself. There is really a free airdrop of apecoin, however those only who hold their particular nft. So ask yourself, if you dont have nft for requirement why youll received a very expensive token? From there you should be suspicious on it already. No one will give a free huge money randomly and that could also lead to some bad consequence if you pursue it.

350 APE is a lot to airdrop, you already could conclude it's too good to be true. That's to reflect.
If it does have value, you will be grateful for it. But there must be none. Just be careful not to spend BNB to cash out it out, you may just learn the catch of this airdrop. Just forget about that tokens. It hasn't turned into a scam yet but it could be luring you to do something about it.

Scam? why would it be scam? Nobody forces you to send those tokens anywhere. And even if you send them, all you lose is probably the tx fee (and the worthless tokens).

--
It can become scam if you go to that website and it asks you to enter your wallet seed. Then yes, please report it as scam (although I would avoid visiting unnecessarily unknown websites, unless you know how to do that from a virtual machine or sandbox).
The fact that it's a take token, which creates a phishing website to mimick am original platform with the intent to steal visitors details already makes it a scan attempt. Scammers don't force anyone to fall victim, they lure them in with tempting offers.
The issue is whether or not the offer of the free tokens would be enough to attract users to try and sell, in what situation they will be led on to the scam website.

To protect oneself, any unsolicited offer, by email, wallet address, SMS or any other form should be ignored.

Don't take much stress for that. They won't hack your wallet by sending tokens lol.
Back to the first chapter, unless the OP gave his private key to a scam or phishing site.

In the past, token transactions like this were mostly carried out by new projects that seemed scam or non-legit just to increase the number of holders, it was not too troublesome because we could just ignore it. But I agree with you that random delivery like this is not a legitimate project especially if their tokens are quite valuable in the market. The OP could easily ignore it without worrying about a scam attempt.

Nothing is free in the world, so don't be greedy. They would be fake or real. But they won't spam you unless you share your private keys. No matter who sent this token, if it's worth some dust you may sell it. But I don't think you can do it. Likely it was the Airdrop token, projects do sometimes increase holders. But don't think a legit project will do the same. Just let them stay in your wallet. Don't take much stress for that. They won't hack your wallet by sending tokens lol.

If this isn't a scam what could it be anyway?

It's advertising.
Some known Bitcoin wallets receive dust transactions that tell a story.
The wallets on blockchains that allow smart contracts and tokens - not only on ETH - people get tokens for free, with or without impersonating other token names, but clearly containing some website link.

Scam? why would it be scam? Nobody forces you to send those tokens anywhere. And even if you send them, all you lose is probably the tx fee (and the worthless tokens).

I got some random free tokens in my math wallet, I suspect that they are all scam tokens, if you see them in your wallet avoid them cos someone is trying to lure you.

Ape-NFT.io is a scam website, I visit the link and this is what I came up with

As you can see the scammer use the same APECoin image meaning he is trying to fool people who can't research on their own, I'm guessing if you connect your wallet to this website your private key will be revealed to them.

That is a scam token for sure. If it is APENFT then their website address is apenft.org. They are on BSC, Tron and Ethereum blockchain. They one which is being traded on Binance is APE and its website address is apecoin.com. It is an erc20 token. Therefore the coin that you recieved is a scam coin.

This is a common practice on tron and BSC Blockchain. Scammers create such copy token and distribute them to random wallets. Do not fall for such scams.

Looks like a scam to me, the scammer generates a fake Apecoin tokens and send them out to all address doing transaction on BNB network, if you try to sell it will lead you to Ape-NFT.io, a fake and unsecured website.

Be careful out there newbies and all crypto fans, a few minutes ago I made a few transactions in BNB from one wallet to another and I got this

I was like, OMG 😱 it's a free APE Tokens, but then one APE is 12$ on binance exchange, how can someone send me 350 pieces for me? That's where I became even more curious, I did some Contract Address findings and I noticed this

As you can see I'm not the only winner of these 350 APE tokens, this is where I started to get angry, saying to myself that why can't it just be only me?  Grin (kidding) Lol, as I proceed in my search I ended up with this website link.

If this isn't a scam what could it be anyway?

The trick is every receiver will try to sell and that's when you will be f**ked up, in this crypto haven nothing comes for free, you have to work your ass up to make some gains and rewards, go after only what you sweat and worked for.
