It is a difficult task to call a bottom when an asset class is in a downtrend. However, using technical analysis, we can at least try to get a rough idea about the levels that can offer a strong support. Its important to remember that when panic sets in the decline can easily overshoot on the downside. Therefore, traders should scale into the position instead of investing all the available money at once. Investors who are willing to wait and are not quick profit seekers it would be a good idea. Again, for mid/long term hold, it provides an immense opportunity to make some good amount of profit if bought at this current price. Bitcoin continued its incessant run and we again made a call of a top on December 08, when it was trading just above $16,000 levels. Bitcoin topped out at $19,891.99 levels on December 17. This call proved to be very close to the top. Traders who sold following our call would be sitting pretty with enough money to invest at lower levels. So, Bitcoin is good investment as far as the trend of price fluctuation graph is considered.
I also think that bitcoin is now in correction and soon it should end. $ 10000 we will hardly see, but the fact that the growth will be and bitcoin will test again $ 20,000 in this I do not doubt. It is better to enter now, but it's best not to use shoulders.
Yes this is a great chance for buying bitcoins at cheap price as bitcoin has already proved its potential by reaching ATH price of 20,000 dollars.This is what early investors are doing,buying silently at price dips instead of complaining and selling in panic.So,just follow the rule "Keep calm and buy as much as you can during the price dips".
A gem? a real gem is a coin that is under the radar at the moment and can make an easily x4 or x5. Bitcoin is not a gem anymore, i do not think that it has a potential to increase by more than x5 or x10 in a short term.

It is good to be able to buy btc for under $ 14k, which is probably the low price at the moment. I think that in the next few weeks the btc price will rise again, but maybe not as high as it was a few weeks ago. I think the price will be around $ 17k. 
Bitcoin is dropping and it's a good time to buy, but it can decrease even more to 8K. That will be a better price to buy. Some people are waiting since December for the price to fall to 10K or lower and that is now about to happen. But after that Bitcoin will rise to 30K in March. So it's either buy now, or wait till it's dropped to 8K.
Yes we can buy some of btc now, i always believe that bitcoin can rising anytime after falling huge. it's time to to buy but investment always stand on risky situation! but if you confidence about anything then you can going forward for it, you can always hopeful about bitcoin.

I am completely in line with what you say here.. Bitcoin remains the "best" for me, just because I'm not here for the mere purpose of trading. I mean, of course, it is great when you manage to make profit, but I guess that the goal of bitcoin is bigger.

that is true. the past 20-30 days have been good days for those who have been wishing to get in, to buy bitcoin at a lower price than ATH. and in the same time we have seen enough resistance that proves the buying demand is still there despite all the FUD and the dumping tests that have been performed.
but also true is the fact that altcoins are getting pumped while bitcoin is not yet rising. a good opportunity to use these pumps to increase your money that you want to invest in bitcoin if you are familiar with trading.

Agreed, the price is low. This could help common people large sum of bitcoin for the same amount that they have been with plans to invest. Another thing, the profit can be gained in lesser time as the predictions were taking place focusing $20k as the next barrier to be reached.
Every time that there is a price decrease or price correction in bitcoin it is always a good time to buy bitcoin because we can never know that maybe today or after an hour or minute it will have a price increase again this would lead an opportunity cost for you not buy during the decrease of bitcoin price because it will an earning that you should have gained during that time.
People who doubts the ability of bitcoin doesn't have the right to invest in it.The correction in prices are normal and with this it allows new investors to draw their attention towards bitcoin.We can't change the mentality of people because some people are always there for criticizing everything.We have to understand what is true and what is not.Everytime bitcoin goes down,it again spike up to create new record and that is how it works and will continue to do so.Low prices means investment will increase and this makes price go higher and after that people will withdraw and again will go down.If the Investment is not proportional to withdrawal it creates negative value which creates prices to drop and that will increase the investment.
Investment should never be done without any credible piece of information because of the risks involved. If anyone wants to invest in the bitcoin more it is his choice and may be a good one after all. If, on the other hand, you choose to invest in the alt coins make sure you do your research well. Either way, being in business is for profit and it must be done wisely.

I agree. It's very advantageous especially for newbie to enter BTC below $14k price. If only I have extra funds I'd probably buy some more. I am really hoping though that they'll do something about the fees because in my county, blockchain fees are like worth an investment too.

Whenever there is a dip it will be a good opportunity to buy bitcoin but we all have to remember that like any investment there is a risk. Bitcoin will always be my number one coins I will be keeping an eye on this year are zencash and Ellaism.
