I'm holding both. Who is buying? most likely somebody a fuck of a lot richer than you, and he ain't in this to take a loss.

I am also holding both. I have been lurking the BitcoinCash community and there are rumors that the "unknown miner" is someone who was from the Hong Kong Agreement and that he plans to make BCC much more than it is right now.

Another name that was cited was John McAfee.

Probably, but being more richer does not make you right, also no one that begins to trade, trades with the intention of losing, everyone is trading because they are trying to win money and yet more than 90% of the traders lose most of their money when they trade.

I'm just making this poll out of curiosity, as I myself am honestly confused on what to do.  I see BCC as free money so I think there's nothing to be done about it really except keep it for a rainy day?

I would like to hear your thoughts on what you plan to dump and why.

Of course I'm expecting most of you to dump BCC, but are there any reasons behind it, be it technical or philosophical?
The reasons for dumping bcc are simple, the coin is not going to last for a long time, why should I waste what it is essentially free money, so my reasons for dumping bcc are not philosophical or even technical, my reasons are practical and economical.

Yes just being practical here also. Soon I'll dump mine because I dont like bch in my portfolio, I sell it now while the price os being hype and of course before the price will become too low as many will dump also.
Lets dump it all as for sure that btc price will be more higher.

Also make sure you use the obtained "free money" from selling those BCH / BCC for buying more BTC Grin
That BCH seems to refuse to die already, a few days ago was in 200 having lost more than half of its value and now it sits at 337, I wonder who is buying this coin to make it go up, the only ones that I can imagine doing that are traders and speculators.

I dont like dumping bitcoin or bitcoin class because I have both that coin. And i think if bitcoin become sucessful and the bitcoin cash for sure becoem succeesful too . Because bitcoin cash is the son of bitcoin for me.
It is not bitcoin class it is bitcoin cash first of all correct this because it is meaning less comment so I would like to say first of all thing what are you writing. You should need to preview your posts as well that you have mentioned a right comment or wrong. As you talking about dumping and pumping then it will be always pumping not even goes to dumping.

I would rather stick with BTC. But stilll BCC is still crypto like all others. So I will also give it an equal share of my time trading and making it grow. As long as I can trade it with money then it is fine with me. I will not going to take sides.

I see BCC as another alt coin which I don't think will survive for a long time, so I think I will dump after saw a lot of people comment about BCC and the one that root for BCC is only small portion, crypto currencies is about earning money, so while the value is still good, it is better to sell it
Well but remember before selling Bitcoin Cash you should use incaditor for analysic mentality of trader for check the price oversold threshold or not?
Example: In first time after Bitcoin Cash listed on Bittrex exchange, it has dumped to @300k sat, the person sell with this price will very regret because they not know sold all their coin with cheapest price Smiley

I will make sure to dump all the BCC I get as fast as I can.

we have all seen what happens to altcoins with similar approach. when they give free altcoins to bitcoin holders, they just dump those coins and price always goes down. and it continues to go down as more people start claiming their coins and dumping them.

and to this day there has been no exception, even for good altcoins like Byteball.

If you want to dump your BCC and not have BCC in the exchange, you will be very slow in moving your BCC to exchanges as the hash rate is too low.

I eventually did some kind of half and half strategy.
I've deposited about half my bitcoin amount on exchanges before the fork to receive the BCC airdrop automatically and I have already sold that on top of the price and have the bitcoin ready to be withdrawn back to my cold storage again.

the next half I am still holding and trying to find the best and easiest way to transfer it to exchanges as soon as they open up deposits. the first step is over meaning transferring bitcoin from my keys to new keys on bitcoin. but the second step of sweeping the old keys in BCC is not.

Which exchange did you use? What was the price of BCC?

I have accounts on many different exchanges and most of them did credit my BCC tokens.
first one was Yobit which I sold around 0.18BTC
the other was Novaexchange which I sold around 0.3BTC
the next was on Cryptopia which I sold around 0.15BTC

all of the above were small amounts I keep in each exchange to play around.

the main thing was in bittrex which I have been selling. sold some around 0.175-0.18BTC and bought back in the dip around 0.14-0.15BTC and already have my sell orders placed. I'll probably continue playing there for more profit until their deposits open then I'll sell before the deposits start and sell pressure increases.

(edit: oh look my rank went up to legendary after this comment Cheesy)

A few answers are for dumping BTC  Shocked
I'm quite new in this, so not a great opinion about all this. What I see is that till the time i'll get access to BCC they may be so cheap it won't be worth selling them. So I may keep it to see if price rises again.

you should be able to access it now if you have your private keys. viabtc accepts deposits but you're gonna have to wait a while.

i just dumped 0.2 on there as an experiment after sending it from my wallet. looks like you have to wait for several confirmations bch before they let you take any btc you buy off there.

could be a long night.

Many treat Bitcoin Cash as an alt, and BCH (BCC) as airdropped but I don't see it so simple. It is a fork therefore with 2 branches, the bitcoin cash coins were not airdropped, you bought or mined them when bitcoin was only one, and yet now they feature on two blockchains! Branch A could be thought of as Segwit coin and Branch B as big block coin. Both differ from original bitcoin but branch A differs the most even though people think of that as the 'real' bitcoin. The main thing branch A has going for it is perception that it is the real bitcoin through retaining the name and ticker symbol.

I'll HODL my bitcoin for now (both types) and await how it develops with interest.

It seems that all these actions can be regarded as some kind of manipulation or something like that. There are already a lot of people in the puddle and their money in Bitcoin and there are already some problems starting here. Could this all be planned?
