Another great decline in the price of Bitcoin as it goes below $8k. The price was around $8600 yesterday and as the price went down it touched as low as $7770  which is almost a $1000 price cut in BTC.
How long do you guys think the decline will continue and how less the price could go ? What might be the reason behind all of this after the statement from MtGox trustee that his selling is not responsible for the decline ?

Oh well, what can I say? Another bad day at the job it is. LOL.
relax man, I know you're scared for your investments but who isn't? I too am, but as much as I believe in bitcoins and in my other investments, I too believe in my decisions that I have thought over pretty well. Which is why I worry less to nothing now. I suggest you do the same also and read more about the past experiences of bitcoins so you can ease your mind. See you on the moon.

In my opinion, considering three months chart of the Bitcoin it is obvius that resistance line is nearly 6K USD which means it can go down till 6K.
I bet you meant Support Line. Both don't mean the same thing. In case that still confuses you, let me help out with clarification. However, simply put, the upper barrier is called Resistance while the down barrier is technically called the Support. In the case you described, it is a downward movement to meet a barrier and that should be Support.

We've often seen something like this, so you do not have to worry especially the community. This IMO will last until the price is discarded at $ 7k, but I do not know what will actually happen in the future. Hopefully all of this soon ends and we can see bitcoin again fixing itself quickly.

In my opinion, considering three months chart of the Bitcoin it is obvius that resistance line is nearly 6K USD which means it can go down till 6K. But of course this forecast doesn't always justify the fact like we assumed. If you can buy it in that time then you can get benefit from the Bitcoin in the future.

We cannot stop the decrease of values of bitcoin. It's up to market. But still, we can't predict what will happen in the future. I believe that price and value of bitcoin will go up before the year ends.

It's a very distressful month had past and I am afraid it will continue this upcoming days and weeks. I have sold most of my alts losing a total of 50% of my investments, well that it's how it's used to be, there are losers and winners and I guess I am at the losing side.

i think the price will drop to 0$ in short time so guys sell sell sell

What came up to your mind that it will go to 0 value? That's way too impossible, you are hallucinating, wake up from your dreams it's only a market crash.

As usual, bitcoin is experiencing another decline in the current market where I think could be an opportunity for the investors to buy more btc with lesser value. All you need to do is just wait and HODL your BTC until the market recovers again. As to when it will recover, I still don't know but would speculate that in the coming months bitcoin will increase back the price back to $12K USD after a bullish run to happen soon.

Right now bitcoin really need all the help it can get through all of its supporters that is in the community, we can never know when it can last because I really think this is a manipulation of the whales that the price is like this, We can never know what certain target they want for the price to fell but this is not a continues this because we can be certain that the price will recover and be back in a higher level again and I really think we can reach the $20,000 USD this and year or even further within that.

Its been happening for three months now since the drop last january. The volatility stays from the gap between $7K to $10K. I dont know when this will continue but i hope it increases for the next quarter.

There's a long term trendline that BTC's price has been following consistently. Humans being humans they occasionally get excited and it radically overshoots that trendline. Then they realise they paid a vast amount only because others were excited too, then they get sad and it plunges below it. Then they go away and it returns to normal until the next excitement.

We're still hungover from the excitement. Expect us to undershoot and then back to business as usual. Maybe later in the year. Maybe next year.

i think we can expect March and probably even half of April be the same down trend for bitcoin. and even if the downtrend stopped, i don't expect a rise because investors are not so happy about the situation and many are not buying yet because they think it may go lower.
on top of all that the FUD makes everything worse. people will be afraid to invest because of it.

how low it will go is not a question that  can be answered unfortunately.

Over the last month the price has seen a decline during the weekend until it goes back up on monday or tuesday, so this decrease is nothing new. But even though the btc price has been on a downtrend, I'd like to point out that the btc dominace keeps going up (almost 45%), so it's no like capital from btc is going back to alts or anything. This reason behind this decrease could be whales shorting, people cashing out their profits, or weak hands panic selling because of the red numbers...who knows.

Overall, I wouldn't be worried about this downtrend, it happens all the time, -10% over the last 24h is nothing tbh.

Declines are good for the economy. It also get's rid of the people who invested into Bitcoin expecting a quick buck and encourages new investors to invest into it. Stop thinking that Bitcoin is doomed as soon as the price falls. We all know the value of Bitcoin and a temporary drop isn't going to change that.

Maybe we still have to wait for news from the upcoming G20 meeting in a few days. Whether the meeting produced good news about cryptocurrency or the outcome of the meeting actually worsened the present condition. We all hope that the result of the meeting is that many countries support cryptocurrency so we will know when the bitcoin price drop will end because good news from the meeting will boost the bitcoin price rise in the future. Statement of Mt. Gox who is not responsible for this decline is just a denial because the fact of their sales still affects the movement of bitcoin prices that tend to continue to decline this.

It will not help if you afraid about the fallen price of bitcoin, we only have to do is stay calm and don't panic. Well actually if I have enough money to purchase bitcoin, I will buy more in this fallen price, for sure in the future I will become a billionaire.

It is certain that the product will return to $ 10,000 or more by the end of March, but before that, will the price reach $ 6,000 before the month of April ?
If the price of the Bitcoin continues to drop below $ 7,000, I personally will not miss that opportunity to buy and store bitcoin.
