Lots of projects aren't really that relevant at all and just obviously trying to deceive out investors for them to scam out.
actually there are no original project concept now because everything has an existing one though in many their projects comes failure years ago specially back in 2019.

There are many projects that are resurrected even from 2018 when the bear market started. Most of them are scams, of course, but there are also projects that have great potential, but for strategic reasons (understanding that it does not make sense during the bear market) they were not realized then. Here, as an example, I can give the one in which I participate in a signature campaign Wink But unfortunately, in this case, the exception confirms the rule.

I saw that bounty but do you know one thing? The word "yearn" made me out of joining that bounty because i joined 3/4 yearn related bounty, some even had eth payment but they didn't pay.so i just lost hope of getting payment on those bounty which contain the word "yearn".so i made myself careful about these project but i don't know how to get rid of these scam project cause everything analysis fail to analysis the actual face of any project.

I have similar feelings as you with 'yearn', and also with projects that have '.finance' in the name. Recently, a lot of DeFi projects have appeared that use this in their name. I can't explain it, but I am allergic and I also avoid any bounty that uses 'yearn' or '.finance'.
On the time we do already learn on whats a hype or things goes mess up after those projects becomes scam then that would really be imprint out into our heads that
anything related or similar to it would really be ending up on the same.
But what comes to be the problem ? people are too desperate to Profit and they will risk even a project that obvious scam.
and most of those Bounty Hunters are the kind of people that Make this forum as a bread and butter , those people that has no real life but Bounties.
Quote
Just like you I do have bad impressions on projects that do just pop out like mushrooms when the DeFi becomes the trend or hype.
Those Defi Shits? there are even projects that sleeping for years then all of a sudden comes to active and connect their project to defi just to find victims lol.

Congratulations to everyone who participated. and me as well! We will not receive anything ... the site does not work, the bounty manager confirmed that the scam had not received payment either and no one responded .... something like that.
if we will gonna list each scam projects ? for sure we will be having 1 or 2 each day and the whole section will be flooded with complaints and scam accusations.

Sorry for this but for me? it is Bounty hunters fault why these scammers are until now ruining the crypto world.

If you will only stop promoting their projects and instead will go to other area of profiting here in crypto ? these scams will stops ..

Help yourself and help the community , and not those scammers that has just continuously creating one after another scams.

Hows their ICO? Did they sold a large amount of token? It is very disappointing that mafias are using crypto to scam people online. They ruin the purpose of crypto. The bounty manager should be given a negative trust for not examining the team behind this scam.

The team didn't give any statement about how much they raised and it can be manipulated easily. The team has gone and the hunters already deceived again.
The majority of scam defi just trying to do hit and run trick to be promoted for free by the hunters.
When you are BM and you can't sure if that's a scam project or not. It's not the first time the BM being fooled by the scam project even the trusted project ever fooled by the scam project too.

For everyone who promoted Yearn global project have it in your mind that you suck big when it comes to doing research on projects, I'm not here to boost around but to say the fact, I was able to tell that Yearn global isn't safe because of fee things like

1. The project have no ANN home on the forum
2. We were in DeFi craziness hype at that time, many scammers are in work
3. The available social media channel of this project sucks, no good updates, very low number of followers and no single partnerships
4. I can't find details about the teams themselves

I think it is easier (and would be smarter) to skill all bounties that has words "yearn", "investment" and "farming" in their project names. Or skip projects that are oriented on this. Once this were easy and quick money, now it is a best scammer bait.

All these projects will turn into shady Ponzi scheme like projects. Try asking how they will generate money to pay its user and investors, and they will try to avoid answering it or will give something general, like "profit companies profit".

I participated in this bounty but it didn't work because I did research and found that the managers in this bounty have a strict anti scam approach. However this Bounty Manager is now offline so you can't recover your earned token even if you want to so don't waste time. So this is a scam bounty so be forget it and go another bounty.

These days,,, which manager does not have a strict anti scam approach? This is not 2017 anymore my friend,,, all bounty managers now are doing this by default if they even want to run a good program. No more lazy managers now.

And still, as you can see, ended up scamming. Forget temporary bounties and find something good for yourself ok?

Well, those guys are talented scammers, they launched the Bounty to gain publicity after which they changed the entire project Name and social media platforms forms. change their telegram handle, twitter handle and other media . they also claimed that the yearn fiancé project failed. so they kick started another new project. without wasting time, they kicked out bounty hunters asking questions about payment in the group.
There manager account rank is newbie so that's why we need trust! They managed the bounty with a pre plan but it was actually a scam project. This bounty team member participated in this bounty as a manager. They have misappropriated investors money and now almost all team members are offline so they will not return in the future.

The project bounty manager should have at least checked the background of the campaign first. Isn't downpayment for the bounty manager possible? That should make the scam project move away from the bounty manager.
I guess even the manager was getting fooled by the scammers. It's not only it and I have seen that so many times the defi bounties ended as scam project and I wanna say that if the total scam bounties created by the defi projects are much greater compared with the ico bounty.
The defi platform was coming from forking the existing platform and that makes the scammer can clone the defi site anytime.

The bull run of Bitcoin price is not the best time for small projects, as all investors only look at BTC. This makes them unlikely to raise funds and provide liquidity. Let's hope that the cryptocurrency market will calm down and small projects will be able to develop, not collapse.

It is not as easy as you think, i believe no bm would deliberately want to promote a project of scammers, the bm must have done the normal background checking no doubt and the team appears to be trusted only to later discover they are not,
when things like this happen, the first thing many will assume is the bm did not do a proper check but we shouldn't forget that a project can turned scam or rug pull when you list expect, no project will agree to be scammers until they turned out to be one.

I agree. I also think the bounty manager checked the project first because it is his/her time that is at stake here. But what I was saying is that isn't it possible that the project pays a downpayment first or to escrow the fund first to be paid to the bounty manager? This way the bounty manager can see that the project is serious.

It is obvious that majority of this .finance bounty claiming to be defi platform are mostly scams, so far i have seen some few who have turned scam eventually,  that's why it is important to campaign for projects with visible team and are supported by many, I know it is hard to differentiate a scam from none scam project because some are very clever.

First of all thank you for at least sharing this news that this is a scam bounty. Because at the end of a bounty, the participant has to repeatedly go to the telegram to check when the payment will come.  Participants at least don't have to do this anymore. Because the bounty manager or the team never says that the project is a scam. If you have any proof that the bounty is a scam, you can report it to the Scam accusations board.

But one thing I do not understand is why you are congratulating the participants for not getting the payment? What is there to celebrate?

Its ironic congratulating, becouse we believe, waste our time and nothing...

It's painful when such things happens considering the efforts being wasted; but this project lacks credible Information as to what the team are working on.
This looks like what happened during the ICO days, where many scam projects were just springing up with nothing good to offer and it repeated itself again but in DeFi. Also, this should make us understand that, no matter the trend or hype sweeping across the crypto space, any project you wish to participate in for bounty, endeavour to make the neccessary research, ask the neccessary questions because you will be saving yourself a whole lot of stress than working and halfway or after bounty, the team will abandon the project. Furthermore, this didn't happen to only bounty during this DeFi trend, but also to airdrops, where many scammers just creates a telegram group and twitter channel, try to create a little hype and then exit scam. So therefore, let's always make our research before participating.

This is the most embarrassing moment when it comes bounty that's why i don't really want to join bounty since most of them keep falling , "especially if the CM isn't trustworthy," oh shut the front door!! Don't insist something in the future. Wherein much better to run on it, and look for good quality projects. Don't keep falling on some words! Look for the progress because that's the most important to prevent such scam projects.

Well do you think he is the responsible for those scam projects or he couldn't make proper research to get the information needed?

I can't really find out good information about this project, I tried looking for the website but couldn't, even their medium has no website in it and telegram is not active.
So it is a good reason to call them scam because non could get information about the project or possibly trying to out to the team members.

Sorry to hear the news, I was really sad to hear such news imagine working more than a month to a project trying to promote it and in the end they just waste effort and time. It looks like there's still a lot of scam projects running their bounty campaign in the forum.
Working hard for 2 months but in the end you wont get anything will make you very angry. Thats why every bounty hunters should make a research before joining in a bounty campaign to lessen the risk of not getting paid.

I personally will always try avoid to deal with the defi project that doesn't backed by company or running by the unknown developers. I was feeling doubt when I was seeing the yeard global bounty already introduced in the bounty section. This was the same like any other YFI forked coin.

There were so many scam bounties that came from the various defi projects. I think that everyone should stop to join in the bounty that was created by the suspicious defi projects.
The hunters must not blindly promoting the defi project caused by it's getting hyped.
The most difficult task to determine the scam defi bounty.

Why do you need to create 2 threads with same issues about yearn.global bounty scam.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/yearnglobal-bounty-scam-5290742
just lock the other so the discussion is only in one thread.

The occurrence of the bounty coming out to be a scam is not the first, all bounty participants must understand that this will still possible happen in the future, need to be more selective in choosing bounties.

Becouse i create first this thread and then users recomended me create thread in special topic that i do, so this can be closed.

Well the bounty is been managed by a newbie and the other reason is that looking at that bounty managers past record of all the bounties he has managed, all those projects are no longer existing anymore, they are completely dead, I think he should be flagged for bringing scam bounties to this forum, i would advise you to stick to reputable bounty managers if you really want to get paid after you finish participating in any bounty campaign.

Yearn finance now yearn global. Bruh, nothing good comes out from a clone so next time you see this kind of project with almost the same name you just better stay away from it. They are just money making machine nothing more and nothing less. You better choose a better project not because it has the name that resemble an already existing project but because the developer team are hardworking people that put their effort into the project not some half assed project like this LOL.

Yearn related projects,

you should suspect it if you see that word. Most of the time they just copy the original and claim it as they are the original. You should not trust immediately to that kind of project and you should try to investigate or avoid it as much as possible.

Congratulations to everyone who participated. and me as well! We will not receive anything ... the site does not work, the bounty manager confirmed that the scam had not received payment either and no one responded .... something like that.
These type of scam campaigns teach hunters a lesson everytime so that next time they should be careful while selecting a project to promote and they should give time in analysing every new campaign before participating and ignore they campaign if they are not 100% satisfied and confident about the project. Only this way bounty market and hunters will prosper and also fake campaigns or projects will be discouraged.

Most Yearn related projects these days are copycats and they are looking for a way to scam people. So I'm not surprised with this.

Almost DeFi, "YFI" family and .finance domain bounty threads now seem like all scam. They just try to imitate the Defi trend, using hunters to promote their project to sell tokens on uniswap before turning to exit scam.

They are copy-cats of copy-cats. Not gonna trust those defi related projects without any solid foundation. You will know their capability even browsing their website or whitepaper, if there's any. Users should not be enticed by these DeFi projects as they are just trying to get some money from naive buyers (in uniswap in particular). Expect to see more defi projects turning to huge blunder.

Initially i was also chasing every new defi based campaign with short duration but after a couple of scam campaigns i quickly realized that most of them are scam so now i just ignore them. Only if i see any real unique project with high confidence then i will think to promote it.

When this project launched, I predict the project will become fail and finally happen. You should see the managers, before joining in any campaign, you should know who handle it, If trusted managers, so go ahead. Choosing a good manager is so important because before they launch bounty, they already learn it. But don't all charged to them, you should learn it too before deciding to join

I made a topic in the appropriate thread. One thing is an airdrop (5 minutes) and another is a bounty month. Although I already know what a bounty is and how many scams I've seen, it's still unpleasant every time.Don't need to jump into anything (especially the registration of the bounty company did not really inspire confidence (these are not detectives, where everything is clear and beautiful).

I just looked at their website and at their bounty thread and it just doesn't look very convincing at all.
Than the name "Yearn.Global". If you search for "yearn" on coinmarketcap you get around 20 results.
So it's pretty obvious that this project was a lazy attempt to profit from the defi hype that was going on until a few weeks ago.
Now that this hype is over the devs of this project didn't bother to continue anymore.

I understand your frustration but this is getting more and more common as time passes, the number of scams in the market is once again multiplying at an alarming rate because as you know the price of bitcoin is getting closer to its previous all time high and this is without a doubt a problem for new projects because most people are concentrated in bitcoin and nothing else and many developers are choosing to scam their customers, investors and bounty hunters in order to avoid a loss.

And the most exasperating thing is that you cannot do anything about it, because even if you create a thread denouncing the people behind the project you can be sure they're going to come back and do the same thing over and over again because very few get to face the law of the respective countries, so next time try to be more careful and research the project at length before joining it.

Most of these copycat type projects and their campaigns are scam, i would suggest to only follow and promote high quality projects with reputed team or good partnerships in the industry all other seem lame and are just here to cash defi hype and exit.

The last message from the manager says the bounty is over. The site seems to be working, albeit a bit slow. It would be nice if you followed the advice above and posted all the necessary information, if it is a scam, in the appropriate thread.
It would benefit everyone and attract the attention of many more users. Also, the bounty manager is probably worthy of being marked in the trust.

A lot of DeFis bounty now popping up every day, I pay attention to that. But as a hunter it is already a risk if exposed to fraud from fake projects when following bounties.
We can see many newbie accounts that manage bounties projects, even the project developer themselves who manage the bounties.
But there are also some of them that are completely legitimate, but only a few. But if you want to be safe and get paid,
just try to follow an experienced and well-trusted manager in this forum. The newbie account that manages the project is a warning, though not all.

Add them to the list of bounties that are not willing to pay OR have abandoned their project. Swaphub refused to make payment. refused to Update their spreadsheet. another yearn stuff changed their identity immediately the ended their bounty. it is obvious the raise Nothing from investors. they decided to rebrand their product. many others will follow this route to prevent themselves from paying hunters.

The bounty hunter must accept the fact that the scam project does not pay, what else can a project scam a bounty manager not be able to do much this has happened almost many times the bounty hunter is hit by a scam, it's really sad, but you have to accept all of that so you can stay excited to find bounties that pay you don't work on bounties that are not clear. The usual scam project will be sweet at the beginning they just want to get a free promotion.

In recent months yearn finance is much into discussion. Some stated it a manipulated growth, while rest termed it real growth. Whatever might be, out of the YFI majority has benefitted. This has led to more DEFI to get into development with the terminology yearn. This is what happened with the bounty thats been mentioned on this thread. The DEFI market is much riskier, so it is good to cross check before going forward.

It's ridiculous, newbie bounty manager even promotes a project for free. I know it's quite complicated to determine a scam project, so at least you should choose a reputed bounty manager to reduce possible bounty scam. It's because those projects even can't afford to hire a reputed bounty manager means most likely they can't afford hunter's payments.

Most current projects have been turning into scams either its DeFi or ICO. If you found something suspicious then please create a thread on the Scam Accusation board with a few clues. So the community would check it if something wrong there. Newbie bounty managers never care about participants, they just want to do free works to build their portfolio.

thanks for the advice, created a topic with yearnglobal,I hope they will add to the bounty thread that there will be no payments .... and they will block the scammer ... but what's the use of this.
They are on hype create this one days sites and people join bounty and work 2 month....sad. Nake care any in defi projects and carefully watch how many people join and check all social media and site. Main in this that if you watch a team and can find them on some social media like linkedin that may be a proof that is legit. Its my thinking.

so, Bounty Yearn.Global project Scams?
I am not accusing this other scam bounty project on the grounds that it is managed by a novice manager, you also know that not all beginner managers who promote bounty projects are scams and vice versa. but in this I am interested because the DEFI project is another bounty scam. I've seen dozens of Defi scams this month including the Yearn.Global project.
So my advice for anyone to be more careful not to rush, let alone a project on behalf of Defi. Always check every project or team that is behind it and the important thing is that you also have to be ready with the consequences too. . if the worst possibility is that you lose time and get nothing because it turns out that the project you are following is a scam.

With all due respect, whoever invested in that project is probably going to be a new investor who knows little or nothing about crypto. A lot of such projects came out after the success of YFI and they joined the hype by launching scam defi project. YearN Global is one of them. The site was poorly developed and many links remain unclickable. The scammer could not have a standard website and yet people go-ahead to invest. It is very shameful

If you have proof that they are scam then open scam Accusations in reputation section .

Thats what I don't like with bounty that use newbie account to manage their campaign they can easily run without payment because they know that nothing will lose in them once they do.

Do you have a copy or archive from the team or any one did review the identity of the team members if they are real people or not in that case you can file a case with the team from the victim.

That's why i don't like to join bounty campaign run by newbie managers. They just go after money and don't bother to verify some information by himself about the project.......
Not all newbies that showed up here as bounty managers are really newbie in this virtual world, there have been several bounties conducted on this forum through newbie account that actually went successful. No time to mention, but you can equally confirm this from the Bounty section of the forum. During my days in the bounty section, before my participation in the bounty, i do ensure to make some good research about the project before promotion. Though, this doesn't make those scammers not to scam, if they have the intention of doing that.

Those without the ability to scrutinize some doubtful projects on this forum are those that are likely to always promote scam projects which will always end without pay or pay without usefulness.

There's a lot of awareness about it's very risky to participate in the defi bounty. I do agree with some members here when you have enough proof and it's better to create a scam accusation against the project and this will help anyone to avoid deal with the crap project like this.
This project just another garbage project and that's why I was feeling doubt and my first impression is very bad too.
