I'm twice more careful around DeFi bounty campaigns compare. To ordinary projects that aren't DeFi, now all scammers are targeting DeFi only to make some insane amount of money through scam, it will be smart if everyone start doing extra deep diggings on DeFi bounties, they aren't always what the appeared to be

Not too surprising for such projects, these projects are following the DeFi trending but they can only attract attention from newcomers to the market. Regarding this project, I think it will be similar to the new DeFi projects that are emerging recently, it feels like a copy and looks very professional.

First you need to contact bounty manager and force it to collect updates. If the bounty manager is inactive then collect some information and present a topic in the scam section.
he already pm'ed the bounty manager that handles this campaign , the convo between him and the manager is posted in the first page . the manager replied that he also didnt got paid , you as a manager and didnt got paid is already a big thing and a solid proof that a campaign can be a scam .

the manager didnt provide extra details and we dont know if he have an update because op didnt update us yet but forcing the manager to do it is not right . they are manager and he is only a worker why will he forced someone with a high rank than him . if really want to solve this case he can act on it further .
If the manager's account is newbie then he must be the assistant of that project and it is clear. So in order to cheat and they resort to various methods. It is only natural that those who can cheat investors will do so with hunters. However i can clearly say that they are cheating and the project is actually a scam.

I dont have any others proof just words of bounty manager) website have one picture and not work  and tg group is gone...but check website - https://www.yearn.global/

Speak with bounty manager:

Viktor | BintexFutures|
Admin all good with Yearn.Global? when distribution?

Dmitry
Hello
Viktor | BintexFutures|
Admin all good with Yearn.Global? when distribution?
Dmitry
It looks like a scam
Yearn Global
Dmitry
I am a hired bounty manager, I am not in the project team, I was also cheated with payment. I apologize.
Viktor | BintexFutures|
I understand you, this is not your fault, thanks for the answer and all the best!

Yearn.Global bounty thread- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5280636.900

just looking at the site it proves the project is Dummy and fake so how come that you did join that Bounty?and the manager has nothing to do here since mostly they are not being paid also.
though there are some inside agreement that managers will be given How much is the payments to do His job and to attract more investors.
And the Hunters and investors will suffer but 'm not saying every bounty managers has there are isolated cases only.

Now we can watch again a lot of bounty campains: yearn finance limited, yearn finance platinum and others,so they all scam?Maybe some member that live in btt long time can say some info  about bounty managers that current manage this bounty( i think all know they),they just earn some money and dont worrie about bounty hanters?
You should avoid dealing with un-reputable bounty managers, they only care about the money and they didn't care about the hunters. I just expect the manager may have received some bucks from there. All of defi campaign was scam and did you see the swap hub campaign? it's an abandoned campaign too.

A bunch of defi campaigns has become exit scam project. They will never pay the hunters.

This is normal because i have seen many projects like 2020, they have easily scammed and cheated many good project. Defi projects have spread more judgment this year as a list of scam projects, where they have snatched a lot of money from investors.

I came across this project and when i researched it i realized that this is a very simple website design, and it is similar to the scam projects i have encountered in this market. A project did not have complete information and was managed by a novice so i did not trust this project. In this space, many scam projects are equipped to equip themselves with the necessary skills to be able to recognize scam projects.

well, not all simple website or not well designed are scam, and most are well designed website project has high potential to end up scam because they will make sure of investor that their project has seriouse development by showing their hard work to do the website, and easily raising fund and then ran away with the money, first look at the team who behind the project and look if they are real project or not, that is the most importants.

There is so many DeFi's bounty campaign on the bounties altcoin board. But I don't think all of them is legit and have a value to stand a long on the exchange. As we may know on this year DeFi project is booming until one of the DeFi token has a price around $40.000 but its price just take a few time until its was dumped to below $10.000.

This thing has made a lot of developer to take opportunity to make DeFi project. But I see that this situation will not take a long time and will end up like ICO 2017 ago. Like what OP said, a scam project popping up and this thing will give a bad image foe DeFi itself.

you need to check carefully by joining bounty campaign, first please look at who the bounty managers first if its not a famous bounty manager that running the bounty, just join the bounty that manage by people who has good reputations on this forum and avoid to join bounty that managed by project team because mostly of scam bounty are managed by newbie account or their own team because when they not satisfying with the bounty , they will not paid the participants, just join the bounty that managed by trusted guys on this forum because they will escrow the bounty fund before do it.

I have no more trusts in DeFi projects especially if they are new, I can still check DeFi projects out if they are introduced by reputable bounty managers but let's stop fooling ourselves, only two out of ten DeFi projects are real, many DeFi projects are sharing name with YFI, yearn, finance, yield, limited etc, they are all copycats, can't be trusted IMO

I dont know why bounty hunters these days still likes to join on bounties that is manage by newbies.  If they want to get paid better to join on bounties thats is manage by reputable bounty managers.
The problem is there are so many hunters who are putting this into their mind "Join the campaign as much as they can to increase their probability to get the legit project"
They don't care how reputable the project and manager are and what they care is about how to get more chance to be paid by the project.
Their mind must be fully educated if that will change nothing for sure.

After the success of yearn finance, scammers now targeted DEFI and trying to scam the investors by offering lucrative return. But most of them are scam.
Bounty manager has fault aslo, why he did not have research on the project before he brings the bounty in the forum?

how many of "Defi projects" exist with the same name, yearn, yield, finance... I have a feeling that a new one appears every day. Is it so hard to create a new unique name?

I checked his website, judging by what I can see there, it is probably created to collect some money and go away with them. Presenting this as a serious business with a website made in an hour. I haven't enough free time to read the whitepaper but I would be surprised if something meaningful is written there.

as you can see the chat already shows that is scammed project. most of those DeFi with less or low information about their project is very risky to participate in their events and the bounty manager was also cheated by those team too.

Well, it looks like it's a scam then if the manager itself said it so. It's unfortunate though because a lot of people are hyping this and those bounty hunters are going to have a failed project without pay again.

The bounty hunters especially the social media participants were joining in all of bounties. the rank of account that being used to manage the bounty didn't matter but when such project has been creating to be a scam project that's the thing that must be avoided.
they already joined in the bounties that being managed by the reputable managers too. You must see if the majority the social hunters already registered to participate in all of bounties.
They didn't wanna spend their time to analyze the bounties.

If you want a reputable bounty manager to run defi projects, you'll have to wait a little longer. They seldom accept to trust such a defi project.
The defi projects has been tainted by scammers so much that it degrades investor confidence which makes it difficult to succeed.
