so the demand is much higher than the market price at the moment, or it was just you being very lucky?

because i doubt people are stupid enough to pay 20%, maybe it was a naive user...

Since I am a complete noob on PacMic, doe the prices reflect an "all in" price for a GH? Does the price include runtime costs as well as equipment costs? If the prices are "all in", then the price/GH should be virtually identical, shouldn't they?

Maybe folks expect that an S7 GH will have greater long term value, than an S5 GH?

they made the deal better as it was first using the  s5 and is  now using the s7---------- I guess I was correct  thinking the meant to base it off s-7 power costs per gh.

so pacmic v4 would be more likely to not mine under its power cost per gh since the s7 is ½ the power cost of the s-5

My crystal ball is a little hazy but I suspect soon all the S7 hash bought as a speculation will be sold. I see a large gap between bid and ask at Hashnest with buyers with largest bids between .0015 and .0017. If bitcoin price started trending down S7 price could easily crash from .0019 to .0016. Not to mention at current price S5 is the better buy as it is considerably more profitable. My bids are in under .0016 otherwise I would rather own S5.

yeah s5 = 0.000733
 and s7 =  0.001933

that ratio is wrong the s-5 is a bargain

or the s-7 is overpriced.

at 0.000733 an entire s5 = 0.84295 btc  which is under 210 usd

at 0.001933 an entire s7 = 9.39438 btc which is over  2254 usd

Thinking of cloud and pricing.  I remember you pointing V4 looked not near as good on PACMiC.

Did you figure out if PACMiC v4 is typed wrong?  Or if it is that much worse then V3?
the pacmic v4 is really bad deal. The best they are offering is s5 hash.

I just purchased 439 gh in s5

Yes, good for him. Well done. If the demand for S7 was not there he would have had to sell at a loss, or probably just keep it for the mining income.

I think OP has the most profitable S7 experience yet.   Others will wait a LONG time and hope to get profit like this.

Only wish I would have known and gotten one during this.  Ohh well I guess.  But congatz to OP.

equipment is largely based on demand and btc speculation pricing so if people are excited about the market you can make a quick buck in resale, but you can lose just as easy.

Hi, i've bought an Antminer S7 for 7.81BTC and sell it in a few hours for 9.72BTC, what a pretty surprise!!

But now the hashnest's S7 are "non aviable". What do you think? It is possible that Bitmain is selling their S7's at that other price, but with the GHS format?

Can you explain how you made that BTC in a few hours?  That is a sweet profit for hours.

Was it just them running out of stock that made people want them?  Or did they announce anything?

the preorder on hashnest was for 7.81btc he then sold the gear piecemeal  1gh to  100gh at a time at a higher price.

the window is gone to do it as hashnest  stopped selling s-7s  they sold 1000 at   7.81 btc each
