you could zip it in a file for me and send it to me in that way i can download it.

thank you all for the support i will try to fix it when i have some free time.

Here's the copy in the zip file I currently hosted it to other website.

Here's the link Antminer-S9i-xilinx-201811301418-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz.

Sorry I have slow internet to upload so make sure to scan it first using https://www.virustotal.com/.

Make sure you are running on a 230 V circuit and not 110 V, otherwise you will not be able to draw enough power.

APW3++ is only rated for 1200W on 110v, and the APW7 only does 1000W at 110v despite being rated for 1800W at 230v.

I believe they have 3 firmware's (more if you count all the older variants of the S9), but S9, S9i and S9j. I think the i and j are identical. Whatever you do, do not install the 2019 version as you will lose ssh capabilities and the ability to roll back your firmware to a previous non 2019 firmware version.

I do have a november 2018 copy of the i firmware if you'd like me to get it put up somewhere for you to download as I think they pulled the older versions from the download page, you might be able to replace the name from BitMaxZ link if that makes you feel more comfortable. I don't think I have any j firmware, I can check and update the post if I can find it: Antminer-S9i-xilinx-201811301418-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz.

Edit: I don't seem to have the j firmware.

I'm sorry i didn't pay attention, the one linked by BitMaxz is wrong...

It's not actually wrong I'm suggesting it to test it with s9 firmware it should be work even it is s9i just like the above said and I already been tested it many times. The important here is to replace the firmware with a new one because the firmware might be corrupted.

You don't need to worry about flashing the firmware incorrectly because there are bunch of method to revert or to flash it back to old firmware.

I'm sorry i didn't pay attention, the one linked by BitMaxz is wrong, since it belongs the the vanilla S9 and not the S9j.

Then it should be one of these:

Antminer-S9j-all-201807131046-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gzS9j固件 Firmware for Antminer S9j
Antminer-S9j-all-201811071118-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gzFixed the hashrate dropping issue
Antminer-S9j-xilinx-201811301411-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gzNot support C5 control board

If we believe the kernel log dump, it is the xilinx board... But these firmware descriptions are lacking, to say the least...

Funny how the open source firmware Braiins OS already covers a wider range of S9 units (and some unofficially like the T9) using a single image.

Yeah the linked firmware is meant for all (thats why it has all in its name)...

The all I believe refers to when they had different fixed frequency firmware's.

Because on their site under S9j they have this, and I haven't had good luck with imaging a regular S9 with S9i / j firmware.

Antminer-S9j-all-201807131046-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz

https://service.bitmain.com/support/download?product=Antminer%20S9j

*Edit: Correction the all refers to the control board, if you look on that page the one that is missing all is "xilinx".

thanx i will try this out and is the firmware the same for all antminer s9 or just for the s9 because i have a antminer s9j 14.5ths

Yeah the linked firmware is meant for all (thats why it has all in its name).

It would also be interesting to see what Braiins OS does in this situation, could you boot it from an SD card?

Here's the step you need to do first follow the guide listed below and hope that will work.

Follow the resetting guide from here How to reset miner to factory settings
Then ignore the 2nd step after that test it again.

If it's still doesn't work try to flash it with this firmware Antminer-S9-all-201711171757-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz then test it again.

If it doesn't work the final solution that I know is this one https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/repair-a-t9-after-a-bad-firmware-lost-chain-5032987

thanx i will try this out and is the firmware the same for all antminer s9 or just for the s9 because i have a antminer s9j 14.5ths

Can you post your kernel logs here so that we can analyze if what is the issue of your miner when running all hashboard together?

You can find the kernel logs under the system tab and then copy all logs and post it here.

Did you tried to hard reset the miner? If not do this first before you post the kernel logs here and maybe it might solve your issue.

hi guys

i am having trouble with my s9j 14.5ths since i got it only 1 hashboard works i have check them 1 by 1 and they work perfectly fine when i try to run all together only 1 board works and it hash only 190.555 and the other 2 are in 0000 what can i do to fix the problem and the psu is apw 3++

Thank you.

Did you try swapping cables? If they all work alone with a single board using different boards and data/power cables, then most likely you have a PSU issue. It would be ideal to test with another PSU.
