Now that I'm legally allowed, I applied to McDonalds and KFC. If you don't have one in your country, they are both fast food places. $11-$15 an hour I think.

Anyway I got an interview but as its my first time I have no idea what to do, anyone here with experience got any suggestions?

:-)

Thanks

Be confident but not arrogant.  That is the most important thing for an interview.  Also make sure you look nice.  Wear your Sunday best, shower and trim fingernails (very important if you work with food).

Good luck!  We've all been there.   Smiley

Its your first interview so they are going to be really easy on you. Just be yourself and be honest.

The comments above are good tips as well.. funny thing I had this same conversation with my daughter two months ago.

Try to answer their questions as confidently as you can.  Try to think of some personal strengths you have so if they ask you about them you have something ready to present them with.

Try to eliminate saying "like" or "uh" or "um" if those are words you say a lot when nervous.

Interviews are tricky, you have to be personable and relaxed while also looking respectful and professional.
