It would be cool to see a wolf of wall street, 'rags-to-riches' style film about someone that has got rich from bitcoin, I am sure there must be a few examples of people that have done this!

I am not sure firmly whether that type of movie exists or not. But I can suggest you some documentaries that can help you to more about cryptocurrency where blockchain technology is fully used and implemented.

I don't think there's any movie produced for blockchain. But, I heard there's a movie for bitcoin. However, blockchain movie sounds really good. Hope we'll get to watch movies regarding this in future

Yeah, some of the movies about bitcoin are documentary. I just found out that BitCoin Movie in internet, it says that it is a 2018 movie and have a genre of Comedy.

I really like watching true to life story movies, like I'm Satoshi . Remeber Edward Snowden Movie? Do you guys watched it already? It is such a Good movie and it is a true story. It is this guys "Snowden" who revealed out NASA's Secrets Grin

I didn't meet the movie yet, on YouTube saw couple of video 30 minutes in Russian about bitcoin pass the version of the movie, but I think someone will decide to make such investment and to shoot film about bitcoin

I strongly agree if there is a filmmaking titled about bitcoin because this is one form of concern in order to manage blockchain and fish technology will increase the attractiveness of the community in understanding bitcoin increasingly day forward

Look at the other "net" movies in the past. Silly plots but you can make some serious dough... probably more than sitting around praying for btc to rise.

There is also a good chance that an inaccurate depiction could hurt BTC's image. I would expect certain goverments to push for the production of films that a negative dangerous perception of it like they have done and continue to do now. Feeding and shaping unquestioning minds. Undecided

I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about but there is a TV show on Amazon Prime called 'StartUp' that is really good!

It's a drama series all about a small dev team creating their own altcoin called GenCoin.

It's not very technical and it doesn't go into a lot of detail about blockchain but I thought it was a great watch!

this is very good, the film world is one of the very good promotion media,
hopefully, there will be documentation film which discusses not only Bitcoin but discuss Altcoin, ICO and Blockchain more detail.

Haven't heard about any purely bitcoin or blockchain based movie but there are few tv series that have mentioned bitcoin many times like the blacklist and mr. robot.

There are hundreds of documentary around this topic but no any movie that promotes the use of bitcoin or like that.
