The hardest part in crypto life is already in the past,i wonder how hard it must have been for earlier investors who came into the space in 2010 upward,is there any earlier crypto investors on here? can you pls try to compare now to the old crypto days?
What more can you get from them, other than the fact that majority of them will be filled with regrets of not waiting till this moment or 2017 before they sold off their coins, I am sure that majority of them cannot really boast of having much left of those investment.

The only story I heard was of a guy that actually kept his key somewhere safe and even totally forgot about bitcoin until in that 2017 when the hype was everywhere, and then he remember that in that 2010, he actually did something related to that it was then he found out that he has 10,000 bitcoin and that was how he became a billionaire in his own currency. Most of them sold of their coin before the price could even get to $1000, and now they are still in the same shoe with us also. We are all waiting for another explosive future.

Those early crypto investors are the ones that are working as advisors and project owners and most of them do not spend time in Bitcointalk because they are already visionaries in the space, ignorance and stubbornness is what made me miss out from being making those elite few.

crypto which is now still nothing with crypto that used to be difficult to find investors. a trader who complains about current prices shows he is new to crypto now and has not learned from crypto in the past.

I'm with crypto from 2012 and consider myself as a old crypto user as their were very few coins and etherum had not been introduced at all.
But I was really naive and had little idea about bitcoin and it's nature and used bitcoin as a payment system rather than investing and holding it.
By the time I realized the value of holding, I had already exchanged many bitcoins out as fiat.
And I was suspicious on investing on Ripple when it came and again when the Ethereum came. So I definitely missed most of the bull runs.

My buddy invested in Bitcoin this year when it was about 6,5 thousand dollars. He is going to hold as he is also aware of the fact that it will grow, although not so soon. I do not think that newcomers differ much from those, who entered the market earlier.
I suppose that these new guys have only one common feature: they have better knowledge and understanding of the cryptocurrencies now.

I think that only technology developed then, and investing was very risky. But look how many of these investors have become rich? I think now projects can only rely on small growth. What makes this market not so promising today.

All i can say about now and the past life of crypto is its gaining more attention compare to the past which is very good since we need more crypto adopters but its attracting more troubles like
1. More Scammers
2. More Hackers
3. More Fake projects
This issues are what is mainly giving crypto bad names and nothing seem to be the solution to it for now, some thinks regulation might be able to fix things up but i doubt it.

I talked to some of my colleague who are wih the crypto before and I can say that what happened on bitcoin is really a miracle for them, since when they are doing crypto before, no one orbnot much people have so much interest, even there is a reward of good btc they just ignore it. Well ignorance is a bliss, what people cant see before now they are keep chasing btc but its already too late. I think that is the part where the early bird really cathes the worm. I remember my friend doing it and Im just surfing wih the internet about different games, then when bitcoin and crypto rises I remember him who are fond of it. Now, he has fortune that are beyond the normal people.

I think in the past cryptocurrency was not as difficult as it is today, in the past the problem was the lack of confidence about the development of cryptocurrency, investors under 2015 did not believe bitcoin would have a very large price like today, they wasted many opportunities to get bitcoin at that time, whereas now at a bitcoin price of $ 10k, it is very difficult to get bitcoin, although currently there is a lot of support for bitcoin in the presence of altcoin, but the longer it will be more difficult to get bitcoin, or invest in bitcoin because the price is very high.

Back in the past
1. Very low to none scam projects
2. Very few bounty hunters
3. All coins are cheaper
4. Lesser exchange hacks
5. promising projects and all coins ever available are not up to thousands

In this present time
1. Scam projects every day, giving crypto a very bad names and many still think that anything about crypto is scam
2. Too many bounty hunters right after 2017 bullrun
3. The best coins ever have already reach new price value, they are more costly now
4. Too many exchanges are coming into crypto business and theyve become target for hackers
5. We have too many coins now, over a thousand altcoins available

Maybe about investment i am not really deep about ICO because not really open bitcointalk especially to look a coin that listed in Bittrex and Poloniex. Both exchanges in past really be favourite by people so when coin listed on them, it can get pumped very high. And crypto or maybe altcoin price pattern usually can be easily guessed by people because we can see coin will pumped or not. Compared with crypto for now especially a lot of tokens that already created, only from exchanges we can make conclusion which one is better because if tokens is better, exchange will not make it hard to listed in their market.

Too difficult to compare.
Before you can easily surrender with what you are doing because of the prices fluctuating like a broken light bulb.
It gets to a point where a tidal wave comes and then a stagnant water taking the price to 0.

Luckily, now there had been a lot of changes. It gets stagnant but still in a higher price and not going back to a number where we could lose a lot of supporter and investors.
The bad part though is they can easily create their own tokens now.

I came to the crypto market quite late and everything seemed to be very difficult for me.
but I have talked with some participants since 2015, now they are very rich. They said that at the time, the crypto market was very new and the trading volume was very low.
they just focus on bounty projects and then hold coins, after only 2 years, they are rich because the top coins x15 - x20 are so many.

For the investors since 2010, it may be the hardest part where the crypto world was not popular, many people still underestimated, even completely not familiar to many people.
However, times have passed and it becomes more popular again when the new crypto was created with smart contract system likely the ETH and others.

And after the first bullrun, many people noticed the crypto. And that time is the ruse of the early investor to gain what they have invested after years, they were likely harvesting the big money.

Personally, I'm new in the crypto world since 2017, I really hoped that I was one of you who have been here since earlier.
like me who knew crypto after the boom, of course imagine in 2010 as if investing in bitcoin is a difficult thing for ordinary people to understand, even more people are not interested when they hear the name cryptocurrency, and I know that bitcoin is in a comfortable era, starting from wallet to the exchange everything is easily accessible for now, and even many countries allow it

Crypto in the old days
- less scam project
- a lot of promising project
- less p&d scheme and manipulation
- very cheap to be bought
- less adoption

crypto in this time.
- more scam projects
- less promising project (the majority of new platforms created non-sense idea)
- more p&d scheme and manipulation
- the price is so expensive
- a lot of adoption

For me, the old days of crypto still the golden time even it got less adoption in the past.

of course it was a difficult time because at that time crypto was still not so popular that many people would feel a little hesitant to invest, not like now, because now there are many testemoni from investors who feel profits, but fortunately at that time there were not many ICO scams So even though it was a difficult time, but I think now is a harder time because there are so many scams and that is really a scary fact

I admire those who came early and saved a lot of Bitcoin.
Sold some or all of their holdings before 2017 ends and bought back at low, and now just waiting for the another rise in the market.

Is there anyone here who invested with Ethereum at start even theres a lot of FUD telling ETH is a scam project and what do you feel on your sweetest victory?

indeed for the period of 2010 and above it is very difficult for investors to find programs on crypto because it is still difficult to access and developments that have just been pioneered by the developers. but if I compare it better at that time than with the present because at that time the rules were not too complicated and also the development of crypto is still honest not like now many crypto programs are only promises or scams, as a result many investors are disadvantaged. and the amount of opposition from the public as a result of its existence which is considered to be able to shift the existence of traditional banks from world finance because it is better in services for its users and certainly can be profitable.
