Well in my opinion, if for introductory purposes I think that won't work for those newbies since the reward is low. Yes it's fun and addicting but the main concern is to earn bitcoin. If they will earn some satoshis and you state them that they need 100m of it, I think they will become lazy to play in that game. But anyways you said that you are eyeing for fun instead of profit and also for educational purposes.
For fun and good for past time purposes, I personally pick those games under bitplay (the one mentioned above). I personally played their coin flapper game (the name was changed now to cash flapper I think) and the game with the frog. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/play-flappy-bird-on-your-android-phone-and-win-free-btc-faucet-835437
But unfortunately I didn't have an update now about the site if they are still paying so Im not really sure about this. But it's really fun and addicting. Good for time killing.
True. Í used to play Coin Flipper for quite some time and was very addicted to it, even though I didn't earn good amounts of Bitcoin. Still, I think that many would find these games interesting, but if they are looking into making profit with them then it may not attract them whatsoever. Nevertheless, it can be seen as a great way to introduce Bitcoin into others who never heard of the cryptocurrency.
As for PC games, the only one I've seen is The Bitles but I'm sure that there are many more than meets the eye.
