Topic: Any ICO worth investing ? (Read 1183 times)
Key things to look for is a good white paper, team and concept/idea it needs to be realistic and relevant. The one I've been interested in is propthereum.io ticks all the boxes for me!
In regards to the previous comments, there are a lot of ICO's and some are bad and some are good. Investing in an ICO is just like any other investment, you should do you research.
These are the qualities i look for before investing into an ICO:-
- Strong team - Both in development team and also the CEO's / marketing (People focus too much on the developers which is important but not everything. no point having a great team to create something, if nobody can advertise it and push the startup in the right direction.)
- Realistic vision - not aiming too high or if they do not reach their target everyone who invested will be disappointed
- Solid whitepaper - Well thought out, shows realistic goals, a strong good vision and a plan of action
- Strong social media presence - A social media that shows they are connected with everyone
- Good customer support - Shows they care, and they have invested time and money into making sure the average investor can ask questions
- Good website - A business who is willing to throw time and effort into a good website are less likely to be a scam
- finite supply - ICO's with no cap can be dangerous and can simply just damage their own coin by releasing more for more investment.
-Market they are getting involved with - Is this a new market? or a dying one? who controls the market?
Finally
- Good concept and catchy name - A good ethos and a name that makes them stand out. Personally i would avoid anything that is something "coin".
Personally i am looking at Crowdholding as it matches all the criteria i listed above and i am interested in their concept of co-creation. Also they are in their pre-sale so you can get a lot more tokens for you money, compared to ICO's. There ICO launches on the 1st of November.

I like your list, seems you know a lot about it. Personally I would add: See if the token is really useful. I like how at Crowdholding you can actually use it at the platform. Let's see what is going to happen with their ICO!
Change is widely considered to be the best cryptobank in the world, and it's still in testing phase. You can get 1000 coins for 2 ETH (1 CAG = 0.7$), but I imagina it can compete against visa within 10 years. I believe it could go to a market cap of about 50 billion, which is about 1/5th of visa, resulting in 1 coin being worth around 160$
Now that the Change ICO has succesfully ended, it's going to get listed on KuCoin the 7th of november!
Other ICO's i'd recommend are Datum, a data holdings network that allows to you take back the control over your data, preventing companies like facebook and google to earn profits with it without rewarding you. The ICO is already really succesful with almost 14.000ETH already contributed!
The second ICO I highly recommend is Milkcoin. Basically its a crowdfunding to expand an already profitable agricultural business, which means the profits you'll get are guaranteed. You'll be paid trimonthly and yearly dividends, and in 3 years Milkcoin will buy back your tokens at a 20% profit of that days value, which means you're guaranteed to get 20% profits on the profits you already have if you hodl for 3 years.
I think it is definitely worth checking out Propthereum.io. They are an asset backed cryptocurrency on the blockchain and are expecting a 1566% coin appreciation within a short period of time. Check them out and let me know what you think. I also found their whitepaper very interesting so give it a read too. I am looking at making a serious investment so your advice will be helpful.
In my opinion RedPulse, Enigma, WanChain, Blackmoon, KickICO, Dovu may be good. Read their paper and make your opinion

IMO, KickICO is worth investing.
KickICO provides a platform for ICOs to raise funds. From my understanding, KickICO will provide support to the new business to launch a successful ICO. I feel that it prevent scams, one example is scammers create exact fund raising website under a similar domain (change of TLD) and misled the investors to send funds.

Well I bought €20 of the SpectroCoin exchange their new coin Bankera. 20% of revenue will get divided among all token holders. pre-ico (10%) almost ended and is a huge succes 80% got sold in like 5 days or something.
Tbh didn't research it myself a lot but I saw this thread by this guy on xrpchat ( https://www.xrpchat.com/topic/9065-bankera-ico-in-2-days/ ) and it seemed promising. I don't have that much to invest so i just putted in 20 euros but since the rest of the ico will be at 0.017 instead of 0.01 i might get some more!

not a promotion but i just see SLVR's whitepaper, they got back up from real silvermine and it said 1 SLVR = 1 ounce of 99% pure silver. don't know yet it is true or not, but i think it is worth to invest in there

Atlant would be a good coin to invest in however it's ICO will be the next day so I'm not sure if you have an ample time to check on its project and all. Also I would recommend centra too but the ICO is placed on hold. Aventus would've been a great ICO to invest in, but the ICO will be tomorrow. Great project and would be very helpful in the ticketing industry.
I think SNAPUP is one of the most promising upcoming ICO which is about to start in a few days. It has a very unique concept which helps to buy luxury products at cheap price. You can expect good returns from this project.
For me Anryze is the best now, I am going to invest some coins

I think it's hard to answer this because there's a lot of upcoming ICO and a lot of it has potential. So, I think it's hard to name one. Before investing on anything, careful study is needed to make sure that you're investment will be worth it. I've invested in a famous ICO before and it went well at first but it was just like a soap bubble. I wasn't able to sell my coin before it popped and lost almost 10% of my invested money.

It is hard to detect good ICOs in this age. I believe bitclave is quite safe bet. I saw couple of tourism oriented icos that might be successful too. But my personal favourite is Rivetz. Its tech is different.
