An Airdrop is a free giveaway of premined coins. Which makes me wonder – did the term "airdrop" come to life to circumvent the "no giveaways" rule?

"Airdrop" was coined by the Aurora team, and they didn't give them away on bitcointalk. Instead icelanders had to go to their website and prove they were icelanders and then received coins. Sort of like a faucet but much bigger amounts. The iceland airdrop was a bit of a failure because the people who received the coins sold them immediately and the coin didn't take off in Iceland as hoped.

Faucet or giveaways I'm just here to collect and benefit in them. I'll be careful for some scams and protect what i collect.

Where exactly you see that requirement? why this project is so special? roadmap is exactly the same like 95% of airdrops released within last 2 months.
Can you elaborate a little bit more why it is so great project?

I'd say most of recent airdrops is targeted to release token, pump on any exchange and drop it.
No point to buy any of these.. just take them for free and cash-out, if possible.

Yeah that's what I do get money of these pump dumps and buy promising tokens with it.
