Its just really normal to think of that if there no key- no coins would really be stolen but saying that they do have the access on our emails isnt really good at all since they can possibly make use of it and the other valuable informations inside it.Just like mine my main email do have lots of transactions when it comes to money and being used mainly for email verifications on my online web wallet which it can somehow be very dangerous.

I never participate in airdrops where you need to install their own wallet, which almost always have viruses. My friend lost all his tokens from etherwallet, most likely because he installed one of such wallets.
And regarding sending your mail and ether wallet, I don't see any risk here. The only risk is that your mail can be used for spam.
