Is there anyone out there that makes a living on buying, selling, trading BTC.  When I say buying, selling, trading, I am talking about people who play faucets, gamble, trade services, or any other trading/activity with BTC.  If you are out there, please enlighten us on what we can do to get the same results on our end.

I think there are a few of them out there who make a living of BTC. Those who owns a gambling site that accepts BTC and pays BTC is included here I guess. But juts like what others said, you can't live with just playing faucets, there has to be some other source of BTC income like campaigns, selling and trading digital goods in exchange for BTC.

I do. I'm playing poker. It pays well.

There are risks of losing your money although, and not being able to pay your rent, if you're greedy.
I've limited my gambling to $40 per day. When I hit double that, I leave the table and don't look back till the next day.

All you need is skill and patience. I've been playing poker professionally since my teen years.

I don't honestly think it's possible to earn a living solely on gambling as 99% of sites have house edges and unless you have insanely deep pockets to begin with eventually your "strategy" will fail and you will be left broke. It is impossible to make a living wasting your time with faucets and trying to gamble it into anything sustainable in the long term I would say..

I have been as of recently encouraging fellow low caste BTC users to instead of waste time fauceting go out and learn skills that you can sell online for BTC. Sure as hell beats going around wasting your life for fractions of cents while being bombarded by ads and lord knows what else.

Op if you think that faucets can create any kind of opportunity for you in 2015 you are very wrong. To gamble or trade BTC you either has to be early adopter or buy bitcoins for you FIAT.
If you can offer your skills in exchange for BTC it is also good option. Then if you acquire sufficient amount you can gamble or trade with it. I don't see any other way.

I dont understand why you can earn that big amount in doing exchange? You can't get that much in such a little time except you have more money to do that exchange thing may be you can earn that big but that will take time too

a good friend of mine is playing poker for a living but on pokerstars,
so there is chance to do it but only in poker, and that is not easy to learn to play like a pro

I used to do this for about 4-5 years and i quit about 3 years ago.  There are better things to do, dont fall into that trap.  If you have to do something like that try and trade bitcoin markets, at least the skill is transferable if the bitcoin market fails.  You become a poker player and your life will go to shit.  Seems cool now but its just a shit long term plan.

Why not work on things that you can do for next 20 years etc and be happy/healthy?
work on what Cheesy for next 20 years things will be even more fucked up then now
no thanks ill be better playing poker and earn some money that is decent to live with (im good but yet to master it)
regards.

Dude i dont know your age right now but poker is a young mans game forever more or less (mathmatical peak is like 23 years i think for a brain) - Unless you are a poker celeb like daniel negreanu you wont enjoy playing poker 6-8 hours a day when you start getting 27-30 years old etc.  So if all you've done up to 27 -30 years old is master your poker skills you'll be up shit street by that time.  Games get harder year on year as poker isnt growing globally anymore to the levels it once was.  The grind gets harder mentally and physically.

There is limited scalability in poker also - have you thought about that single scalability factor, it might be the most important thing to consider?  I remember i made more in my first few years as a pro than i did in last.   Poker does not scale well at all, you likely get to $20,$50 or even $100 per hour and then its all downhill year on year.

Even if you are 18,19 or something now there are many better things than full time poker playing, it super unhealthy for your body and you turn into a moron who thinks about everything single thing in life in terms of poker.

Play part time and work on a something else also, you can still make good money at poker but not be stuck with it.

When i first tried quiting poker it actually took me about 2 years to actually fucking quit, its really hard to adjust to anything after grinding.  I ended up selling some shit on ebay at first to make a livivng and since have worked on selling other shit online in various ways.  It actually scales very easy what i do now vs poker, i can actually see ways i could scale to $300k - $500k a year infact (nowhere near that now but the point is it really is possible) - no chance with poker unlesss you are a genius.

I still play occasionally.  Thinking about getting back into some part time action but just for fun.

What should you do instead i dont know, diversification is key.  What are you good at? I suggest you make a business somehow, same freedoms as poker and way better in so many ways.

Well, 10% of my spare money goes to gambling, which I win alot with, and I use those winnings to buy ingame items that I usually pawn off xD

I don't really mind if I lose, as I only Gamble what I am willing to lose. I still have 90% left of my spare money, anyway.

There are very little people who gambles btc for a living. However, it is very risky and you need to be discipline to follow your betting strategy. Nevertheless, there are no guarantees in gambling that you can earn money. You could lose all your capital in an unlucky day.

Yes. you can make a living by going all of your property in. The question is how much is your capacity of carrying risk on your life ? If you can endure it go to gambling or trading and son on. if you can not endure it then go to find a job and work for others and get some money.

Partly yes ! I have my Job as a software engineer working with an MNC which pays good enough to pay all my bills plus save up for future insurance plans .However I can't really satisfy my hobbies like lavish club drinking scenes, expensive clothing brands etc .I gamble with btcs to fulfill those requirements .

I think you already have good life but to earn more money to fulfill your lavish life needs would be better if you find some other ways to increase your earnings because gambling is not the way to make more profits on regular basis but if you have a luck you can make some times good profits but not every day. Good-luck to you  Smiley
Yeah thanks man ! In know gambling isn't the key but after 8 hours of tiring job I m barely left with couple of hours to do some money making online. As you know starting a new service or some online business needs similar amount of dedication,so gambling remains as the only feasible option .

for me I can make a living here by signature campaigns and by playing poker , cause you don't need much money (in USD ) here to live a good life
the avg salary here is less than 100$ monthly , so I think whatever I make monthly by hanging out here and grinding micro SNGs I will be making a good amount of money comparing it to what people are making by working on normal jobs

With faucet and gambling there's no chance of making a living. but if you're good at reading price charts etc.. you could make lot of bucks trading bitcoin/shares (requires investment at first). i've started trading few weeks ago till now i have made only 20 bucks, i hope will make much bigger profit in future and not lose.  Roll Eyes

I'm not sure any one is completely depends on gambling or faucets earnings but some people may be doing traders job for their living. Trading means not just a BTC trading but like share markets and all currency trading but for this one need a lot of investments. Honestly I would like to tell you that if any one getting a success from these methods but they will not share tips in public.
