For me it is your choice how much you have to bet in gambling, because that is also a strategy for you to lessen your loses, for me I will recommend to always bet in small amount so that even if we lose that is just fine, we can still move forward for that lose. 
Yes that will depend on the gamblers choice. And it is going to depend on how he is going to gamble, he may gamble at very small amount for all the gambling sites but for having that least loss that is we can't assure for the industry we are in is gambling. And this is a game that comes up and depending to our luck.
That's acceptable. To minimize loss the only possibility is to place small amounts as bet. More the amount more will be the loss value. Another thing is that if lucky users can get good profit from the small amounts placed on the side having higher odds.
Yeah to place low balance you have lesser risk to take but if you place higher bet you will have chance to get more with higher risk too. I think it still depends on each people though, some of them want to take higher risk to get a good payout but still many of them scare to lose more. And higher odds is hard to take unless you have really lucky to play it
