Usually when the market is downtrending or after a reversal there are some pretty good opportunities for profits. So basically I'm looking for coins similar to what happened to NANO.

then try looking for reasons why NANO rose up that much.
for example one of the reasons which is the most important is that NANO was not pumped and was not in a bubble like most top altcoins.
the other reason was the re-brand where they changed the name from RaiBlocks to Nano which is a far better name. there were other smaller developments too which all helped the pump.

I'm looking at LSK(I think people overreacted and sold too much, down almost 60% in the past week), and maybe STRAT or WTC(It's in a small uptrend I'm waiting for a breakout).

What do you think about these? Any others you guys think might go up in the next week or two?

Well, there are many undervalued coins and tokens out there. One that comes to my mind is Cindicator (CND), a very good project which is worth only 0.13 $ right now. Take a look at it: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/anncnd-cindicator-hybrid-intelligence-for-financial-markets-september-12-2062875

Check out the BAR altcoin. It's undervalued but it was oversold by hackers who stole millions of it and dumped it in exchanges. The team is forking it so you don't have to worry and they are one of the hidden gems.

It all depends on how you perceive value. The simplest and best way is to value a coin at the middle of its bid-ask spread on a popular, liquid exchange. All goods are valued at what someone is willing to pay for it

Since most coins aren't expected to produce a return anytime soon and may or may not be in demand in the future it is very hard to value them. Perceiving a high future value is really just speculation.

Oversold? Most coins are oversold, just look at a graph, if the coin is downn and there is no news or expected news it is probably oversold. Or it was never worth anything to begin with. Since these coins aren't really producing a decent return and had a massive run-up in December, I don't think anything is really oversold.

That being said I did buy Nano around 7 USD buy have since sold it.

I'd definitely say PRL (oyster) is the most undervalued token for now. They have so many road map (they will giving away SHL for any of PRL holder with ratio 1:1) that's why people are accumulating their PRL now

Good idea. You can do experiment. But then never invest the amount you can not afford to lose

Undervalued:

Oyster (PRL)
Matrix (MAN)
STEEM
Bibox
IoT Chain

Overvalued:

Steemdollars (SBD)
Litecoin (LTC)
Ripple (XRP)
TRON (TRX)
DogeCoin (DOGE)

And a few more, its hard to cover all.

But I think especially MAN & PRL are massivly undervalued.

I consider the most undervalued coin in 2017 and now it's waves.
their value is much higher, and I think this year their growth will be soon.
Also, a coin that has good prospects is eos

The bad thing about lisk is its inflation because there is a lot of coin has been generating by the miners anytime. But in my speculation about you can't expect high jump from crypto for the next week or next month as you can see there is no a lot of support to the crypto right now. Strat looks better than lisk IMO.

Most undervalued coin right now is Ethereum Classic and it isn't based on how much room it has to grow. It will most probably in the next week do well which means if you have funds available you should invest a bunch right now because this is as close as to a guaranteed thing as you can get. Of course it could go down tomorrow, but I think it is a good bet expectation wise.

Of course this list isn't full, but it's impossible to mention everyone.

I think the CyberMiles is undervalued coin which can be the new Amazon on blockchain. They have existing app with more than 10 million users and 3 billion dolllars per year transactions.

I think Enigma, Status, Waves, Mysterium, SONM and Mobile go are undervalued currently, not saying all these projects will make it but most of them at the current price range should be able to great return in 3 months time, by that time confidence should have returned into the space

Yup, Stratis is oversold, so is Waves, both have great value and have so much in store in 2018. I hold Monero already but I believe PIVX is also oversold after making its climbs and gains in 2017.

Bitcoin itself, do not forget, that is currently oversold though at 10k most people will think this is the correct price.

Verge is overbought even at this level!

I would say that most of the coins with strong fundamentals are undervalued atm.
I would reccomend you to check out lowcap coins as they tend to dip a lot more than high markedcap coins.
