Two things come to my mind when I saw it:

1, subtle way to sending subliminal messages to their clients about BTC
2, they are going to accept it in the future

So this could be a marketing ploy and the people behind this traveling business really wanted to put it that way. So it is displayed with reasons, in my opinion.

There are many possibilities that this can happen, this may seem special to us as bitcoin users, but we don't know for those who say they are unfamiliar with bitcoin, maybe this is just an ordinary picture for them. And we don't know what the designer built it on, whether he actually promoted bitcoin that way too, or maybe he just added something that's been buzzing around. It is very difficult to conclude such a thing.

During the start of the year one of my friend who is running a travel service gave a table calendar. I just had it, and suddenly while looking for the date saw the image of bitcoin being mentioned in the calendar. This is something unexpected and it isn't a big thing, because the editor of the calendar might've added it. However slowly bitcoin is getting displayed here and there without reason. Does this intend people to know what is it.
The first thing that comes to mind is that it looks like the editor did some clever tricks on the calendar to make it look unique and remarkable in the presence of bitcoin.  That means Uniglobe has created an important highlight to show that their services are of interest to many people.  Or maybe another meaning but that's what I really think now.  and not sure if bitcoin will be accepted as payment for most of their services or the places they will link to accept bitcoins?  maybe not really

This looks like a customized calendar or possibly the designers creativity nothing too serious. From what i see on the calendar the company might be into tourism and accepts bitcoin as either a means of payment and if  this be the case then it is no longer a news bitcoin has covered even beyond the expectation of it's developer. The date highlighted might only be significant to the company and not to bitcoin community

As already mentioned, this was likely for no reason, the editor could have added it because;
• The agency accepts Bitcoin and it was requested, or
• To symbolize payment, this could be to say they are affordable or transactions are fast, just as putting dollar symbol to signify a transaction in many ads.

Lots of people already know what Bitcoin is, to an extent. This is no longer a new concept, it's one that is already wide spread.

If I was the one who received a calendar like that, the first thing that would come to my mind is whether they accept BTC or not. I tried to search for your friend's travel service to confirm but there are more than one company that pops up. I'm not sure which one is it. When it comes to travel companies accepting crypto payments, it's not something new. The first one I encountered was Travala and you'll find more if you search the internet.

It's hard to speculate on someone's thoughts, you have to go up to him and ask about the design whether it's from him or from an editor who just adds random images thinking it symbolizes luxury like in other images. If your friend is currently accepting bitcoins for travel package payments, then it's obviously for promotion.
