Any plans on banning Qtum, since it's almost definitely them/their team behind the spam?

Without strong evidence, I can't ban the subject of spam because then you could get anyone banned by spamming "for" them.
Isn't it an idea to optionally allow people to block PMs coming from newbies? It cost zero effort to create an account and to start spamming, while reaching jr member status at least requires some sort of effort.

I've suggested this before especially when people can and do just create new accounts to spam pm you once you block an account. In this case though not all of them were newbie accounts as they were using older hacked ones.

That makes sense. If bans would be handed out that easy, you could basically take out competitors by making it look like they are spamming the forum, while in fact it's a completely different entity.

This forum should be renamed to altcointalk.org seriously all I see every day are just silly and stupid altcoin topics. I ignored their PM after I read QTUM.
I think we just need a coin for pregnancy, because that's what we are pregnant of these fu*kers Cheesy

Didn't get a PM from them, but they and their old campaign manager,  BlackMambaPH, are corrupt and censoring to the core.  Did that garbage project ever turn a profit for anyone other than them?  Didn't think so.   Hope they get banned and it'll be a better world without them.   Good riddance.

I wiped all of those spam PMs, and the senders are all banned.
There have been dozens of them banned today. They're using hacked accounts mostly registered in 2011. Just report them and they get banned pretty quick.

Same as you but in a different user named klapeck and contains the exact and the same word that was pmed to you. I am wondering why the hell did they send me this since I do not wander in the Altcoin section much. The account klapeck is also created way back 2011 and is a newbie. I didn't click any link they send since I read some threads regarding phising link.

I have a group taking about Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies which they tackle more about ICOs and never heard they mentioned Qtum and it is quiet suspicious since I also check the other users who are included to the recipients and looking for our common denominator and seems there is none.

BEWARE: Do not click any suspicious links.

Yes. From asd4 - https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/asd4-14162.

P.S. It seems they have bought old newbie accounts in bulk? Was there any (bulk) sale recently?

I got this PM from user luxgladius advertising the launch of Qtum, even though I never talked about Qtum, almost never use the altcoin sections, or participated in any of their campaigns. luxgladius is an account created back in 2011, and has not made a post since then. One of the accounts I am holding as collateral also got the exact same PM from Skunkworks.

Now I'm wondering if anyone else got a PM. I'm guessing a lot of people did from many different accounts, but would like to know for sure.

!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!
