i had a dream last night that bitcoins were actually backed by crayfish tails.  i had left a huge pot of them outside for a couple days after a party and they all got spoiled, so i had to throw all those tails away.  i was devastated.  i was so mad at myself for getting into a currency backed by crawfish tails.  thats when i woke up with a sigh of relief.    true story.

Weird enough there is actually no crab coin or fishcoin.
Maybe it was a premonition that you should start an altcoin? Smiley

I think the title of this thread should be:

Get a price alert if you leave in fear of the price drop!
A true believer doesn't care about the price anyhow.

A true believer who levers up cares.

uhh I don't care if price of bitcoin will be tomorrow at 700 or 1500. I just believe, that bitcoin became more and more popular and price in couple of years will be in thousands of dollars..

fuck that, i'm not selling off! i don't have many coins, but i do somewhat worry about them.. even though i've secured it in cold storage. i just have that irrational fear that somehow someone else will get to them.

If you can't sleep because of bitcoin , you have too much money on the line. Sell down enough of your holdings so that you can sleep.

(This advice was given to some stock market speculators by a well known investor , unfortunately though I can't remember who. It has worked for me before  Smiley )

That's a great way to look at it. I'm selling some of my bitcoin when it dips and when it rises. I kick myself for not doing so during the bubble back in 2011. Once I make my withdrawals I have some hesitation in wondering whether it will go up again but then I congratulate myself for making the profit I have locked in by selling.

maybe you guys need a widget installed on your work computers so you don't have to check bitcoinity.rog or bitcoincharts all the time while "on the job"  Grin

i imagine there are a few people looking for the pricepoint where they can leave their shitty jobs.

nobody better deny it.. what's the first thing you guys do when you wake up the morning? i'm willing to bet that most people who have invested in cryptocurrencies check their phone. you probably wake up in a haze, and then remember you have money invested in cryptos, so you jump out of bed and grab the phone  Cheesy

It's a good alarm clock, seeing a major move.

That's rubbish...the first thing I do in the morning is cuss myself for having to wake up to go to work on little sleep after watching the charts all night. Then I go back to chart watching when I'm somewhat conscious.  Cheesy
